As you predicted there has been a rise, as everyone hoped it was much less than the drop.stattointhailand wrote: ↑April 27, 2020, 6:51 pmOne can only hope that it was a genuine drop and that the numbers continue to decrease in days to come
Here is Monday added to the numbers and graph, these numbers may change later but it is not usually by very much.

The “official” number only includes the deaths in UK Hospitals.
The FT estimated some six days ago that, if non-hospital deaths were to be included, the real number of deaths would be more than double the “official” figure.
Extract from the FT:
.The coronavirus pandemic has already caused as many as 41,000 deaths in the UK, according to a Financial Times analysis of the latest data from the Office for National Statistics.
The estimate is more than double the official figure of 17,337 released by ministers on Tuesday, which is updated daily and only counts those who have died in hospitals after testing positive for the virus.
The FT extrapolation, based on figures from the ONS that were also published on Tuesday, includes deaths that occurred outside hospitals updated to reflect recent mortality trends.

^ So...
There are those that died of Covid-19 in hospitals = FT analysis.
Those that tested positive and died of Covid-19 in hospitals = UK.gov analysis.
Those that died of Covid-19 outside hospitals = included in FT analysis.
Those that tested positive and died of Covid-19 outside hospitals = AFAIK not included in anyone's statistics.
There's much to be made of the UK.gov being repeatedly unable to match the daily/weekly testing numbers it promises. I have read of a few complaints by people who found the location of their nearest testing facility was inconvenient for them. I haven't seen any media reports from those who found it quick and easy. Selective reporting?
I alluded in an earlier post to some people's unwillingness or reluctance to be tested. I think this was touched on very briefly in the hypotheses being made in Dr Ericksons YouTube by his partner Dr Massihi, right at the end.
There may be a fair case to be made for most government's being quite inefficient in delivering the tests to the public but with all this doubt as to who can or can't spread it, efficacy of masks, immunity, vaccines, chloroquine, heat, humidity, Lysol and G5, maybe a whole bunch of folk just don't WANT to know?

Gidday mate. Criticizing the worst president in US history isn't US bashing. Mr Trump looks totally out of his depth. Some of the US governors are looking pretty impressive.

I suspect that the Orange has not only managed to achieve that accolade, though my US knowledge of the deeds of its presidents is slim, but it is also a strong contender to be one of the worst or at least most incompetent anywhere In the last couple of hundred years.

Stay on topic please mate. I'm not the subject of this thread. It's about the UK and US governments' life and death struggle with the Coronavirus. Plenty of room for improvement for both of them.
I like jack. He's nearly always making good points.

I cant even dream to imagine what it must be like stuck in the house with a couple of young children .
How they cope especially some without any outdoor space is just beyond me .
So overall i think the British public have responded very well in these difficult times .

Although the site says that the numbers reset at midnight GMT and it’s now 0:40 reporting time the “now” is still including the 27th data.saint wrote: ↑April 29, 2020, 7:26 amSaw that this morning early , whilst milking the family cow !!!!! . The blue background will probably change later today, but SWMBO has a plan for us to help the Thai economy and we will be busy, so I’m putting this up early.
Edit, virtually no change so I’m not reposting, and our contribution to the economy is happening on Saturday. The death numbers are up but the infection numbers are not up nearly as much. If my vertical alignment of these 2 charts is remotely correct then there is going to be a rise in the death numbers for the next little while that should be followed by a sharp drop This is my guess at the relationship
