Anyone tried Mor Chana app lately? I uninstalled it last month as it would freeze on the splash screen. I recall @Niggly had the same issue and did the same. The government messages seem to recommend using it over the other app Thai Chana.

Private hospitals in Thailand are targeting July as the earliest date in which the Moderna vaccines might be made available in Thailand, sources told Thai Enquirer on Thursday.
Moderna is the first vaccine that private hospitals will be allowed to bring in as an ‘alternative vaccine’ to the government’s vaccination plans.
Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health is defending taxes and fees imposed on private hospitals looking to bring in their own coronavirus vaccines.
However, private hospitals have complained that they are are only allowed to bring in the vaccines through the Government Pharmaceutical Organization and the GPO is charging them the 14 per cent rate.

For some reason, & I can’t think why, I reinstalled the app on Sunday gone.
It’s working perfectly

I too recently re installed the Morchana app ... prefer it to the Thaichana .. Morchana is working fine.

Reinstalled last night, setup went OK. Looks like maybe it's not the original developer that's listed? The only thing I still dislike about it is having to go into the app list in settings to "force close" after I get home. Otherwise it keeps running in the background even after turning off Bluetooth and GPS. I get the small icon saying "morchana is advertising" or something like that.

Interesting titbit, some friends were intending to travel from Nong Khai to Udon via public transport this AM, tested at the Bus Station and refused permission to travel , they tested positive although they all feel really well. So it would seem they are really clamping down on interprovincial travel.
Have to wait 14 days, not incarcerated in a Hospital just home quarantine .

Just a FWIW SWMBO registered for vaccination today with the village headman, she also registered me using my pink card Thai ID number. Only time will tell if I will get vaccinated alone with other locals.
The persuasion was that our neighbours son and wife came back from Bangkok 4 days ago and they have both tested positive and are now either in hospital or in medical confinement.

Last week I went to the Wattana Hospital in person armed with my yellow house book and granddaughter .(no pink id)
They took all my details and I was registered.
Yesterday I got a phone call... first jab on 10th June using Astra Zeneca.

Could be subject to change but we'll see.....

Zidane.. Is that a "private" vaccination out of Wattana?? If so, how much does it cost?

Hi Dave,
They actually spoke to my wife when they phoned with the appointment date....
My understanding is the vaccination itself is free but you will have to pay for any treatment required later as a result of the vaccine.
My guess would be medicine for things like breathing difficulties, pain in the injection site, headaches or the, hopefully, miniscule chance of blood clots etc.

I registered there a week ago and got June 16 am. I understand this is the government program, so probably Sinovac or Astrazeneca. However I expect this will be delayed.

No I didn't do it online.
The lady took all my details... Name, address, age, next of kin, any allergies, on any medication etc. plus photocopy of my yellow house book and main page of my passport.
I presume they then entered the details into Wattanas system.
The ladies card says she is the International Coordinator for the Wattana in Udon and Nong Khai.

Just for info for those registered for a vaccine, I had my 2nd AZ dose in the UK this week. I am very healthy for my age but, after both, had headaches (never usually suffer) and tiredness. Slept like a baby last 2 nights which was a bonus. It hit me 24 hours after the jab which was painless - that seems to be the norm.
