Seems a few more sneaked in(Goondiwindi..??)
Coppers there must be like the roadside cut-outs on the highways in Thailand. :D
Nothing wrong with Goondiwindi, I was marooned there for 2 weeks during the 1974 floods. Used that route as a short cut to Perth, via Broken Hill & Port Augusta, when travelling from the Gold Coast, many times.
Didn't say there WAS anything wrong with Goondiwindi.
Used to work out there on a sheep station in my late teens as a lecky.
Seems for some here plain English is not on the list of knowledgeable items.

For those who are interested, the most current update on how the Vaccinations are progressing around the World

That Cambodian figure looks a bit high with 17.0 % Vaccinated with one shot and 14.2% at two shots?

Australia is starting to make a move, with 19.6 % Vaccinated with one shot

Singapore is doing great, with 43.9 % Vaccinated with one shot

New Zealand, a bit disappointing, I had expected more, but only ay 10.1% Vaccinated with one shot

Laos, a surprise, with 9.9% Vaccinated with one shot, not to bad for one of the poorer Countries

Thailand, middle of the road, with 6.0% Vaccinated with one shot. Should crank up soon. [-o< [-o<

Indonesia for the size of its population, dragging its feet with only 7.3% Vaccinated with one shot :-$ :-$

Vietnam and the Philippines very slow off the mark.

No figures, being reported for China. No real surprise. [-( [-(

A long way to go for some of those Countries in Asia to reach 70% Vaccinated (2 shots) if that is their target before completely opening up. There will be a few stragglers into end of first quarter of 2022, at the rate some are goings? :yikes: :drunk:

Just read that Italy has stopped administering AZ shots. Anyone who has already received their first AZ shot will get their second shot using an alternative mRNA vaccine.

So what will they give instead? Choose your vaccine, choose your side-effects.

Whatever China's figures are, you should expect them to be higher than everywhere else in the world.

The untrustworthy cons wouldn't work on a killer pandemic-producing virus without simultaneously working on a vaccine. The entire membership of the Communist Party (89 million members) were likely vaccinated in the summer of 2018, before the unicorns started mating with the ewoks and gremlins at the Wuhan wet market (wink, wink).

In World’s Worst Vaccine Line, the Wait Lasts Hours and Gets You Nothing

By Nicolle Yapur
Bloomberg

Ivan Arias had been standing for six hours in what is very possibly the world's longest Covid vaccination line when I found him on Monday morning. The Caribbean sun was scorching and Arias, 75, looked exhausted.

This was the fourth straight day he had risen well before sunrise to get in line with hundreds of other elderly Venezuelans outside a drab, state-run hotel in downtown Caracas. The previous three days, he had retreated home, unvaccinated and starving, around noon. On this day, though, he was determined not to give up so easily. He arrived even earlier—4 a.m.—and packed an arepa stuffed with sausage, eggs and cheese. By 10 a.m., he had barely advanced at all.

“What this government is doing to the Venezuelan people is humiliating,” he told me.

In the land of never-ending lines—for food, for the ATM, for water, for fuel—many of them have, mercifully, receded of late, the result of the socialist government’s sudden embrace of free-market economics. But the emergence of the vaccination line has been a stark reminder of how woefully haphazard public policy remains under Nicolas Maduro.

Delays in making payments to the global Covax program—which the Maduro regime attributes to U.S. sanctions—have left the country to rely on allies China and Russia for vaccines. Less than 2% of the population has received even a single dose, one of the lowest percentages in the world. Only medical staff and people aged 60 or older are eligible. Meanwhile, the virus rages on. Even the regime's official data acknowledges a pick-up in cases and deaths.

It was painful to watch grandmothers and grandfathers shuffle along in lines that snaked for blocks. They came in wheelchairs and on crutches. They had respiratory diseases and skin infections. A blind man arrived on his own just after sunrise. His white shirt and black pants were riddled with holes, and the home-made Covid masks he wore, one on top of the other, were torn. He was instructed to sit down next to a towering statue near the front of the line, where, like everyone else, he waited for hours. The economic collapse has been hard on all Venezuelans but this generation has taken it the worst.

There was lots of haggling on this day over who had an appointment and who didn’t. Soldiers overseeing the lines insisted that only those who had received a text message calling them in would be vaccinated, but the vast majority of those in line had not. The system seemed arbitrary to them—how were these decisions made, they asked, and what about all of those people who don’t have mobile phones?—and they had steeled themselves for an interminable wait. “We’re not going away,” they began chanting in unison at 5 a.m. Some had arrived as early as midnight.

Around noon, my colleagues and I packed up our stuff and headed back to the office. A couple of hours later, one of them got a phone call. It was Ivan Arias. He was euphoric. He had finally gotten his shot.

Could this be the beginning of Mandatory Vaccination? I truly hope so.

Summary: no news
Maybe yes, maybe no
We don’t know, we are testing.

Edit

AZ are seeing no reduction in immune response yet.
The similarities to SARS & MERS immunity may be what is happening, if so then a booster in 10~20 years may be required.

Register for vaccine. If already registered, enter your ID number and it will give your appointment date.
Unfortunately, my date has already passed.

I'll make a prediction: Before Thailand gets its act together on vaccines, the 4 or 5 vaccine makers will produce enough to flood the international market. It may take a few months, but I sense it's coming. Given a choice, I think most people will choose one of the top shelf variety.

Do you actually see a date Mak? When I opened with my registration ID number it showed a check mark for being registered and "X" mark for the first and second shots. Did you have an appointment date that you were unaware of?

FWIW: The article linked below talks about the recent covid death(s) and how they are linked to relatives who travel from high risk provinces (like Bangkok) and return home to Udon......to visit family, to participate in ceremonies, etc.
The good news is that Udon seems to have a pretty good track record of tracking active cases and following up with testing those who may have been in contact with the infected individuals. The bad news is that I don't see how Udon will get to 0 cases as long as inter-provincial travel continues.

It gives my name, ID number, telephone number, date and time of appointment, which has already passed.
Also a check mark (registered) and an X for 1st and 2nd dose.
They don't have any vaccines, so I guess this was a stalling exercise to keep the masses quiet.

Yes, when I open it gives me ID#, name and phone number but no dates. I guess that means I'm in the system but no appointment have been made yet. Will check periodically. May get an SMS notification on the LINE app when vaccine is available and an appointment is made.

Thanks for posting the link Mak. =D>
