The forest was shrinking daily but the trees kept voting for the axe as its handle was made of wood and they thought it was one of them.

yes I saw that the WHO had formulated advice regarding the wearing of masks with the rider that in no-way should other practices learnt Washing hands and attempting to keep your distance should be relaxed .
In other words personal hygiene maintained AND wear a mask

A sure fire way of spotting a BS news site is a variation on a trusted source. abcnews.go?tamada wrote: ↑June 8, 2020, 6:58 pmSome interesting circumstantial evidence of Wu flu's emergence in China being earlier than claimed.

https://abc.com/ is their home and entertainment website.
Here's a clue: go to https://abc.com/ and scroll to the bottom and click on the 'ABC News' link under their 'OUR BRANDS' banner then get back to us with what their official news website is called. OK?

Interestingly, 55 poor souls in the UK died yesterday (down from 350 odds a few days ago) but because it does not suit some peoples political agenda its deemed not worthy of posting. Did you miss that headline Statto.stattointhailand wrote: ↑June 1, 2020, 7:25 pmInterestig ... 8% infected ??
67 odd million in UK would indicate that somewhere in the region of 5.5 million would be infected but we are being told that only 8000 a day are getting infected .......... must be a hell of a discrepancy with bame numbers.

I look at the numbers and for new infections the countries reporting are all on the other side of the earth
The closest to Thailand is India at 670 infection reported
Yet still they report the possibility of NOT open routes between countries, when?
Odd what are they exactly looking for?

Re: Miscellaneous COVID-19/Corona Virus Discussion, Questions, etc.
Sunday, June 7 is the worst day of infection during the pandemic in the world.
WHO states that over 136,000 new cases were reported then.
- The biggest threat now is to take the situation too lightly, says WHO chief Tedros Ghebreyesus.
Europe is preparing for a tourist summer, in Sweden we are allowed to travel freely within the country and in the US huge mass demonstrations are underway, while President Donald Trump today announced that he will begin his reelection campaign again.
But while the situation is starting to creep closer to what we are used to in many countries in the West, the spread of the corona virus has exploded.
To date, over seven million people have become ill in covid-19. And over 400,000 people have died since the virus became known at the beginning of the year.
The worst day, the day when most confirmed cases were registered, happened on Sunday. At that time 136,000 new cases were confirmed worldwide.
- The highest number in a single day, says Doctor Tedros Ghebreyesus at the WHO press conference on Monday.
The WHO boss urged all people demonstrating against racism to do so with caution, to take care of themselves and their fellow human beings at the same time.
- We give our full support to equality and the global movement against racism. We condemn all forms of discrimination. We urge those who protest the world to do so safely, he says.
Everyone is urged to stay away, wash their hands, wear mouth protectors and stay home if they are sick, the New York Times writes.
- Six months into the pandemic, it is not time in any country to let go of the brake, says Tedros according to the Reuters news agency.

Although the ravages of the virus right now are the worst, the WHO chief warned those countries that are starting to see positive signs of becoming too complacent and taking the situation too easily.
"We must now focus on what we can do today to prevent a second wave," says World Health Organization crisis expert Dr. Mike Ryan according to Reuters.
