"Wear a face mask, social distance, avoid large crowds, don't go indoors with people you're not sheltering with (especially in bars), practice good hand hygiene, get vaccinated when it becomes available to you, and to protect your life and the lives of others, don't visit any of these 35 Places You're Most Likely to Catch COVID."

The forest was shrinking daily but the trees kept voting for the axe as its handle was made of wood and they thought it was one of them.

Well Thai Visa are reporting a requirement for renewal of Extension a NEGATIVE Covid test result will be required after January 24th this year for any Extension no matter how long you have been here.
Details not as yet promulgated, but no doubt a money spinner for Hospitals, with anything from 1500 to 8000 being quoted. Hope the Thai Government pouts a ceiling on the charges, as they yet have also not given any indication of Vaccinations for Foreigners, could be that they have no i9ntention of heling them so we either pay for a vaccination oR get a NEGATIVE TEST each year, IF we have never left Thailand a lot of us, we MUST have caught it from a Thai , now that would put the cat amongst the pigeons as it were.

Re: Miscellaneous COVID-19/Corona Virus Discussion, Questions, etc.
I think that where a Government has ZERO plans ( understandable ) to even begin to offer vaccinations for those who have decided to live here and are NOT Thai Citizens and also ZERO plans to offer a plan which would be at a real;isitc price PLUS as they are also NOT testing their own population unless where an outbreak has been confirmed. Any foreigner who has not left the country in the last 12 months who tested POSITIVE from a Covid test, would in my estimation cause more problems than enough. AS in most probability the only way he/she would have caught the Virus would be from a Thai, especially in the Bundooks of Issan , that would cause more logistical problems for the Govt .Needing a full search and trace throughout Issan, PLUS the relevant Hospitalisation and quarantine facilities ( as they do not accept HOME Quarantine it seems ) .

Sorry you are positive, off you go to the airport bye bye no extension

Truth is: only that covid19 has been added to diseases that prohibit entry to Thailand

Norway is a country and countries cannot talk. Its all the medical doctors and researchers say there is no direct link. Basically they say, old and fragile ppl die all the time, its too early and premature to say that just bc they died after vaccination, that that must be the cause of their death. If somebody eats peanutbutter in the morning and dies in the afternoon, it doesnt automatically mean the peanutbutter killed them. (this is my own example, the scientists didnt put it this way.)tamada wrote: ↑January 19, 2021, 8:39 pmNorway says no direct link between Pfizer COVID vaccine and 33 elderly deaths

In general, who should we trust when it comes to a healthcare crisis, medical scientists and doctors who studied for years, or youtubers and the like who peddle clever sounding conspiracy theories?
just the other day, i saw (online) a rather large anti vaccin protest demo in a European country, with a large banner "VACCIN=POISON".
Crazy people. lol. Happy to live in Thailand free from dumb crazy people like that.
