You can hardly blame them Z. If you are found to be even slightly positive you are instantly sent to a cardboard bed concentration camp where you live in close proximity (no form of separation at all) to many others who have tested positive. toilet and washing facilities sufficient for 5 people, no trained staff to look after you etc etc. Oh forgot, you get a personal fan.Zidane wrote: ↑May 10, 2021, 9:34 amThailand on Monday (May 10) reported 1,630 new COVID-19 cases and 22 more deaths.

Re: Corona Virus / COVID-19 Important Information
Some of us elderly at risk chaps have already got our Astra Zeneca vaccination dates.
Here's what to do before, during and after (Thai PBS World)
If you are over 60 years old, or if you have chronic respiratory disease, heart and blood vessel disease, chronic kidney disease, cerebrovascular disease or stroke, cancer, obesity or diabetes, and have registered for vaccination during June or July, here is what you should do before you are vaccinated, according to the Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA)’s Facebook page.
First of all, you should get enough sleep, refrain from drinking alcohol, coffee or tea. Most importantly, you should not have any illness, including a fever, before the vaccination. Also, you should avoid heavy exercise two days before and after your vaccination.
You should also notify doctors of any underlying health problems and medicinal or vaccine allergies, if you have any, or if you are pregnant.
Other reminders include bringing your ID card, wearing a face mask, bringing your sanitizer gel and double checking your appointment.
You are also advised to drink 500cc to 1 litre of water on the day of your vaccination.
Get injected in the arm that you don’t normally prefer, and avoid carrying heavy items with that arm for two days.
After the vaccination, you will need to remain there for half an hour, in case of side effects or other symptoms developing. You may take one 500mg paracetamol tablet if you develop a fever or muscle pain at six hour intervals.
Most importantly, do not take Brufen, Arcoxia or Celebrex at all.

Re: Corona Virus / COVID-19 Important Information
Bangkok Post today.
Eighteen had hypertension and diabetes. Other illnesses were high cholesterol, renal disease, heart disease, liver and lung disease, 'mental illness' and obesity.
The list basically coverers most illnesses that exist in Thailand, but first time I have seen being a bit loopy increases your chances of popping your clogs. I was thinking of some UM members who must be seriously worrying now.
