Wasn't quite sure where to put this - but worth a look, and a laugh.

The narrative is swinging 180 degree against the powers to be that perhaps had us suffer more than required.

Russell Brand is hardly an impartial observer.

Part of the problem is that using hindsight gives a very very different view than looking at an evolving unique situation and reacting to it.

Analysis of the results gives guidance to the future.
The excess deaths are a result of the actions in the past.
The deaths caused by COVID were not predictable so actions were required.

You have an unknown decease with unknown consequences. If you have a susceptible population, without doubt the vast majority were, then you have to take the view that the results could be similar to bubonic plague, you cannot assume that it’s similar to the common cold.

Get it wrong, act in the wrong way by not taking sufficient action and the death toll in the U.K. could have been 20 million.

Were mistakes made? Without a doubt. Mistakes are always made.
Were the mistakes deliberate? Absolutely not.
Was there complete agreement on actions, that were disregarded? Absolutely not.

EDIT TO ADD
Were the lockdowns in the U.K. late? Yes they were.
Were the travel restrictions late? Yes they were.
If the U.K. had locked down and restricted travel would there have been a better outcome? Almost certainly.

If I were in the U.K. in 2020 with no current knowledge I would’ve, like others did, have being pushing for more and faster action.

Did pharmaceutical companies make huge profits? Of course they did, that’s what they do, governments can tax them.
Did pharmaceutical companies make Vaccines at an incredibly fast pace? Yes they did.
Did pharmaceutical companies test as throughly as they are usually compelled to do? Of course not, it’s impossible to be as fast as they were and as through as they are usually required to be. It is impossible to condense a 10 year program to 18 months and be as complete, corners and big chunks have to be cut

This appears to be the same Scientist who had not worked at Wuhan since at least some time in 2016 - if he ever did.
He* claimed military-grade drones would often appear at his home, he was stalked at the supermarket, and he was followed by unknown vehicles.

*"He" is the same scientist referred to above.

Lovely scientific terms, rubbish. The report is written in plain English.

So that means it's factually correct?

Easy enough question. I don't see the need to obfuscate.

I've read some of the posts and tryed to search on the Forum a post regarding Covid and how members try write how they try to pump up their immune system to be ready for the Covid virus..And you all know by now, general health, diet and keep your weight down is a good start i think..but do not find many or any post when a member tells us/they HOW to boost our immune system..i find that funny..*NOT*.

So i wish you all a healthy end of this year and hope to see you all next year..healthy(er)and stronger.

My motto for myself is:

Stay healthy so i can die heathy....//Alfie wish you all a Happy New Year -2023.

One way that is guaranteed to help and not do any harm is 5,000 IU of vitamin D daily.

Get out in the sunshine i say parrot..but why not like you said 5000IU of Pro Hormone can't hurt. But why not test your PH whit a simple blodtest,if shows you have enough..you save some money.

(Technically, vitamin D is a misnomer. It is not a true vitamin because it can be synthesized endogenously through ultraviolet exposure of the skin. It is a steroid hormone that comes in 3 forms that are sequential metabolites produced by hydroxylases.

My cardio run is done, now some oat porridge...//Alfie..:-)
