OOH misses ....... that's put another cat amongst the pigeons ........ Tory MP crosses the floor and defects to Labour before PMQ's and then David Davis takes Bojo on telling him "For the love of god ... GO" not what you want from an ex minister, long time MP and ex SAS Officer

I should, Coco.

David Davis is a bell end. He was the bloke who persuaded Thersa May to call an election, which wiped out her 23 seat majority and left a virtual hung parliament.

Well, they're all bell ends to be fair.

Telling TM in private to "call an election" is one thing, standing up in PMQ.s and telling his own PM to resign in front of the whole house and millions on TV is "Next level"

Wakeford knew he was on borrowed time with just a 402 vote majority at the last election.
It was a Labour seat borrowed and he was pretty sure to loose his nice little earner at the next election.
Opportunism using Boris's bumpy ride as an excuse.
He's got his little y-fronts and he's got his little vest, Chaz Jankel, 1998. Mash it up Harry.

That goes without saying DM .......... anyone selected by the Tories as a candidate for an election is bound to be a soft cock that speaks like a proper dick 'ed

When you think about it Wakefield has done what ALL MP's should do ......... represent their constituents ...... 402 maj to Tories in 2019 so he votes with Tories ....... 10% poll lead for Labour 2022 he votes with Labour.

Will there be a Domino effect now with more defections?

How long will Bojo (formally known as PM) last after the outburst by David Davis (formally and still known as "Grim reaper")?

With Johnson in the driver's seat there's only one direction for the UK - down. If the Tory Party was in a healthy state, there would be a number of competent contenders to be PM.

Errrr, he did and then became Prime Minister, don't get much higher than that in UK politics.
Bojo at one time was an EU supporter, so it says on Google.

I'm a bit slow sometimes, but I couldnt understand David Davis's comment about Bojo being well aware of the "for gods sake go" quote made to Chamberlain, then the laughter when he said he didnt know what Davis meant. It was yet another case of Bojo being a proven liar, as he either knew full well that it was the statement that handed power to Winston Churchill (after the "we will fight them on the beaches" its probably the most important in Churchills life) or if he REALLY didnt know about it ( as it appeared) it lends weight to the rumours that his book on Churchill was ghost written and he just stuck his name on the cover.

You really are amazingly amusing. BoJo is the worst thing ever for the UK because he had a small drinks party but Bliar deserves his awards for lying his teeth about WMD's and forgiving mass murdering terrorists . Donald Trump was as near to the anti Christ as most humans could ever be. However Great Grandpa Joe who has made conditions of illegal invaders worse than DT who was roundly castigated for it and just this week while a delegation from the USA are in Ukraine trying to convince their leadership that they have the Free Wests support the halfwit announces to the world and Putin especially that just a "small invasion" would be seen as not to bad and would probably not result in any action from the USA or its Allies. Have not seen any adverse reaction from you or the usual band of culprits posting the usual outrage. Strange Eh.

A ) Because Blair, WMD and all that malarkey is irrelevant to the current state of play. I recall reading that they caught Saddam and hanged him.

B ) Because this is a discussion about UK Politics and not Trump, Biden the USA or the Ukraine.

Biden's gaffe has already been posted in the relevant thread so just let us know if you need a link to that discussion.*

In the meantime, feel free to throw your 'bunnet on the green' about which of the meally-mouthed, flippy-floppy, iny-outy Tories will be a suitable replacement for the current meally-mouthed, flippy-floppy, iny-outy PM.

Seem to remember your answer to the question of who do you want to replace the hated Boris? was "Anybody but Boris" now they are all Quote " mealy-mouthed, flippy-floppy, iny-outy Tories" so no matter what non halfwit Marxist is chosen to replace BoJo (if they are) you and the usual culprits will continue to attack the dually elected Government of the UK because you don't like their political stance. Hence my previous references to Bliar and Great Grandpa Joe.

And its so wonderful that they are all ducking for cover as the mucky stuff heads ominously toward the fan :-$
Statts, he alone did not take the UK out of the Dictatorship. He supported the British/UK people in their aim of independence from Brussels but at the end of the day some 17+ million voted out in a record breaking vote to get free of the failing experiment. The negotiations proved just what a bunch dictatorial, money grabbing, power hungry thieves they were. It was always said that it would take a few years for the full benefits to become evident but the terrified responses from France and Germany on the Ukraine-Russia situation proves just what a bunch of ineffectual's they really are. An EU Army? aye maybe in about 50 years when Russia takes over the whole lot.
