bojo still leads in the polls by miles .corbyn has no chance of being elected
And neither of them have a snowball's chance in hell north of the border, west of the Brecon Beacons and across the Irish Sea.

Little England syndrome for sure.
They have about as much chance as Fort William keeping a clean sheet
Oh?

Asking as an interested bystander - how do know that (the second assertion)?

BOJO has offered to come clean with all the answers at the same time as Donald Trump releases his tax returns :-$

Seems odd that all of BOJOs sheep keep saying they are making significant headway with all the problems. yet not one of them can actually provide any FACTS or DETAILS (bit like some members of this forum on other threads :-$ )

LIBs always want to vote again and again, or manipulate the law through the courts, until they get the desired result. We are seeing the LIB tactics play out on both sides of the pond.

More a case of a clown on each side of the pond trying to act above the laws of the land is closer to the truth. At least the Brits are doing something about ridding ourselves of our clown or at least restricting the effects of his insanity

.

I said it earlier. The UK has not much in common with the EU except geography.

Then ran across this excellent article about the UK and their historical importance to democracy, free enterprise and fighting totalitarianism.

https://townhall.com/columnists/victord ... e-n2552909
Over the last 30 years, the British nearly forgot that fact as they merged into the European Union and pledged to adopt European values in a shared trajectory to supposed utopia.

To the degree that England remained somewhat suspicious of EU continentalism by rejecting the euro and not embracing European socialism, the country thrived. But when Britain followed the German example of open borders, reversed the market reforms of Margaret Thatcher, and adopted the pacifism and energy fantasies of the EU, it stagnated.

Johnson's efforts as the new prime minister ostensibly are to carry out the will of the British people as voiced in 2016, against the wishes of the European Union apparat and most of the British establishment. But after hundreds of years of rugged independence, will Britain finally merge into Europe, or will it retain its singular culture and grow closer to the English-speaking countries it once founded -- which are doing better than most of the members of the increasingly regulated and anti-democratic European Union.

Europe is alarmingly unarmed. Most NATO members refuse to make their promised investments in defense. Negative interest rates are becoming normal in Europe. Unemployment remains high in tightly regulated labor markets.

Southern European countries can never fully repay their loans from German banks. The dissident Visegrad Group, comprised of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, seeks to create a mini-alliance inside the EU that promotes secure borders, legal immigration only, nuclear power, and traditional values and Christianity.

Britain has a last chance to re-embrace the free-market democratic world that it once helped to create -- and distance itself from the creeping statism it once opposed.

BOJO could have had his election weeks ago if he had really wanted one. He just wouldnt ask for it in a manner that would have insured it would be BEFORE OCT 31 coz he wanted to change the date after it was agreed ..... unfortunately for him the opposition saw through his scam before it was used

=D> =D> =D> =D>

How come the remainers are the only ones to tell the electorate we did not know what we were voting out for, when the Gov UK and all their pals spent millions telling the voters that it would be a disaster even to vote leave never mind leave. Halfwits who are so good they cannot see something like the 2008 crash creeping up on us. We don't listen to you anymore.

But I do have a keen eye for hypocrisy - as has been demonstrated to you previously (on more than one occasion). ;)

This comes from the cabinet office who are trying to convince everyone that it will all be luverley ... :-$

No wonder they wanted it to be kept secret

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSKzH-nGaYQ
Saw that on the news . Dont dwell on the fear factor , Its a worst case scenario that COULD happen , not will , more a maybe if that , but the Government has to prepare for every eventuality , and its already out of date . Bojo and his team are on the job and things have improved since that report .

Well that's been blown sky high out of the water hasn't it

The original heading was a "Base scenario" of what is expected to happen

The worse case scenario document (which they refuse to completely release to the public) is called THE BLACK SWAN

A couple of the Black Swan details that have been admitted to (all be it WORSE CASE) are Food rationing, Petrol rationing, lack of required chemicals to clean the water, shutting down of at least two oil refinarys oh and Martial Law being introduced ......... and we haven't even started on "KINGFISHER"
