Just a quick post, as I'm taking Mark Twain's advice.

and for the self appointed Tucker Carlson of UD Map.

Taxing large corporations is a huge mistake. The corporation just passes the added expense on to consumers. They need to tax the executives who receive astronomical salaries and benefits. Taxing capital gains is fair and taxing multi million dollar inheritances is also fair. Closing loopholes that wealthy people use needs to be corrected. They need to focus on individuals (people) rather than businesses. Let the fat cats buy their own private jets and yachts.

Last year 55 major corporations paid $0 in federal income tax on $40.5 billion in pre-tax profits. Closing the loopholes for major corporations, which was supposed to be done in the 2017 Tax Cut and Jobs Act, was never done. Raising corporate taxes isn't going to do anything unless you close the loopholes.

They don't need too raise taxes on companies if they address the huge tax avoidance scams. If the governments were genuine and not beholding to their corporate contributors they have many options. Its not just the US that suffers these types of barely legal schemes. Two examples amongst many. Google sells a lot of services in Australia but Australian customers are billed out of Singapore, so none of the revenue is taxed in Australia, Google has a tax agreement with the Singaporean government.

IKEA a Swedish company uses a process called 'transfer pricing' so all the profits go to a Dutch shelf company which has made a deal with the government.

A law requiring companies to adhere to a set of regulations, and a catch all that if a company deliberately introduces accounting policies to avoid tax would fix that. Directors of the companies to be imprisoned and fined if they violate those regulations and this type of nonsense will disappear. Any sensible company uses legal frameworks to minimise tax, but blatant avoidance is a different matter.

The issue is they're not all scams. These corporations are legally not paying federal income tax. Right or wrong, ethical or not, they have an effective tax rate of 0%, legally. You are correct, that's what needs to be addressed.

Coal Miners Union That Supports Joe Biden Comes Out Against Coal Mining
The United Mine Workers of America have a unique gift for self-sabotage.

It’s not unusual, for example, for a labor union to come out in favor of a Democratic candidate. It’s more unusual when that candidate, Joe Biden, advanced a program that would clearly do away with jobs in coal at the expense of affordable energy independent of China, Russia or the Middle East.

It gets more unusual when one of the Biden administration’s first energy moves was to engage with China to sign an agreement which, among other things, aimed to tie both countries to their goals under the Paris climate accords. At the time the agreement was reached last week, the president hadn’t announced what our goals under the Paris accords were, since he’d just rejoined the agreement after former President Donald Trump’s administration pulled out of it.

Lets kill some more jobs !

Joe Biden to Hold a Car Rally Next Week, but It's Where It Is That's the Hypocritical Kicker
According to the NY Post, Biden is going to be in Georgia for a “drive-in rally” to push phasing out fossil fuels. “On the president’s 100th day in office, he and the first lady will travel to Georgia to highlight how he has delivered on his promises to the American people. While he is there, he will participate in a car rally,” Jen Psaki announced.

Consider the irony of that, too.

Does he not see the inherent contradiction in his positions and what he does?

So he and his contingent are going to fly to Georgia. Carbon emissions. They’re going to go to wherever the rally is, in the big SUVs in which they drive around. Carbon emissions. Biden is going to talk about phasing out fossil fuels with the cars spewing fumes around him? He’s creating a ‘carbon emissions spreader’ that didn’t need to happen, to talk about how we have to reduce emissions.

Does this not seem just a bit crazy? Do as I say, not as I do, and accept the rules that I want to impose on you.

So does this mean that it’s okay to go to that horrible racist state of Georgia again? Or does it just mean that Joe Biden is now supporting “Jim Crow on steroids,” as he called it?

Biden has already cost the hard-working folks of Georgia a ton of money from events that the Democrats stampeded out of the state, including the $100 million from the All-Star game and whatever Will Smith’s movie might have contributed by filming there, just to pick out two big examples of things that were pulled from the state because of the Democrats’ lies about the new election law.

Now, to be fair, given Joe Biden’s track record of poorly attended car rallies, it probably wouldn’t be much of a carbon emissions spreader because he probably won’t get more than four cars.
bet more people against Biden show up than for him.

John Kerry is a moron. Besides his shameful performance in Vietnam, he is also a traitor. His only claim to fame is that he married a VERY wealthy woman. If not for that, his name would have never been heard in political circles. Now it has come out that he betrayed Israel, no surprise there. If you want to know about his actions in Vietnam, talk to river boat veterans.
