'Victory has many fathers, defeat is an orphan'

Kennedy paraphrased Tacitus, Agricola 27:1 (written ~ 98AD) [1]

'Inquissima haec bellorum condicio est: prospera omnes sibi indicant, aduersa uni imputantur'

In a few weeks when the failure can no longer be ignored, the GOP will eat it's childen.

Before 2024, I would suggest there will be an almighty schism amongst Republicans. On one side will be those that spawned the Tea Party and morphed into Trumpists, on the other side will be moderate Republicans. I cannot see how these disparate groups can co-exist under a single political party.

What will the tipping point be? Perhaps some unfortunate murders or brutal attacks on moderates.

Who will lead each schism partner? Donald Trump Jnr, as Donald will further decend into insanity. Who amongst the moderates? Anybody's guess, but this person will be hated more than Biden, and should be prepared to don a bulletproof vest when in public.

Trump has almost certainly delivered Democratic dominance for at least the next decade.

I had a bumper sticker in Texas that read 'Beam me up Scotty'. I often wish I could find one in Udon Thani
