I have many American friends.
Most very successful businessmen.
None of then are remotely close to being "DUMB".

They all love Donald Trump because he is re-making America into what it once was, a powerful and respected country.

Its amazing how many people can criticize his leadership during one of the most important times in US history.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but when leading the country through times like this there are many, many areas and ramifications to consider with each decision made.

As for Trumps odds, its a bargain.
He's not just going to win, but he will annihilate the democrats.
Very few of them will hold there seats.
Time will tell, but i've posted it now, so I look forward to after the election to see what comments come back at me.
I don't think there will be many.
Mick

Forecasts of 200,000 dead = Trump is doing a good job....unbelievable!

I have to say it, and I have many American friends who are just as horrified 'The Average American voter is as dumb as dog ****'
Point don’t play down the intellect of dog ****

Second point the 200,000 number if the percentage of dead in China were the same is 780,000 not less than 35,000, that is the number today

If the USA were to match the severity of China the death toll would be about 9,000.

So a relative death toll of over 20 times the Chinese = good job

The Spanish and Italians made stupid choices with almost no time to correct But they are trying

Orange Rump is positively evil Incarnate as it has and is obstructing the medical needs.

I would really like it to succeed but the leopard can not change its spots.

Probably, only because he has proven to be an abject failure ....... which is a snapshot of his entire life.

I doubt even Lone Star would indulge himself to the degree of hagiography you have demonstrated here Mick. :D

STW.
If you actually believre the Chinesre numbers, maybe you need a reality check.

Jack,
Please list your personal wealth so we can compare if Donald's life is a failure.
He did become the USA President.
I don't see your name in thr history books yet.

Your definition of "failure" seems to be a bit different to mine, Mick.

BTW, amongst other prominent names in the "history book" are Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Mao Zedong, Vlad the Impaler, Attila the Hun ... etc etc. :-k

Please don't take it too serious gents.
Its just a forum with a difference of opinions.
That probably won't change but hopefully our lives will still go on. :-)

Could be the first election in US history in which the candidates do not live long enough to be elected! (likelihood of them both getting covid-19 must be fairly high, and Trump doesn't do social distancing well).

Trump loves the authoritarian Duterte
Not reciprocated
In January 2020, when Duterte again taunted the US that he would scrap the VFA (he had done it before, early into his term), it was over sanctions levied on his political allies over human rights violations. Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa, the chief operator of his war on drugs, had just learned that his US visa was revoked.

Like China, Duterte did not like the US involving itself in domestic affairs.

More than 1,000 Americans died of the virus just today alone and Trump on national TV said, "Did you know I was No. 1 on Facebook? I just found out”

Americans deserve whatever is coming to them if this POS gets reelected.

We deserve a great American as president.

There is nothing on the left which fits that bill.

Being an American, I can assure you that anything Trump has done to benefit anyone he has benefitted 10x over. He has put this country in self-destruct mode, with both the budget and deficit skyrocketing out of control. Any president would be considered a success if they just printed and handed out money. But you are right, I believe Trump will be re-elected, and then the real fun begins. Remember, somewhere down the road someone is going to have to pay for all of this irresponsible spending.
