The Royal prerogative is usually used to change a sentence from the death penalty to life imprisonment, it is a means of showing mercy and is not used to let proven criminals get away with their crimes "scot-free"

The "reverse" Royal Prerogative was to convert a death sentence to Transportation to Australia which I'm sure you will agree was far worse

Elvis (Trump) has left the building (WH), hopefully for good.

An old hit song from 1977 by Carole Bayer Sager about moving out today :D :D :D
.
Ashamed to be English since 23rd June 2016 when England voted for racism & economic suicide.

Disgusted that the UK is “governed” by a squalid bunch of economically illiterate, self-serving, sleazy and corrupt neo-fascists.

Mind you, Whistler won't see the outcome now.

He's under his bed with a box of tissues and his lego.

Ta Mossie,

I don't anticipate that I will be terribly active on this forum again, to many fools for my liking who have opinions that are at odds with the facts.

Despite Michaels insulting post, there was no need for tissues, and as mother died several years ago, not even any plaintiff ghost calls in the night.

Poor old Michael will have nothing to chortle about with his equally inane golfing buddies at NWS golf course. It is hard to think that somebody well enough educated to be an engineer can be so silly that they get sucked into stupid US based conspiracy theories, completely illogical ones to boot. Now Qanon is imploding, Briebart have proven to have been 100% wrong and Biden looks to have made a promising start, lets hope sanity prevails.

He should, but probably will not honour his bet. If he does, any suggestions for a local good cause to benefit? Maybe I will just put on some nice nosh for the people in my village, a lot of them are doing it hard.

Barney,

Anybody that believes in these conspiracies is inane, I will not list them all, but just a couple of examples.

1. On Jan 6, troops were going to overturn the election and arrest Biden, Obama and Clinton.
2. Mike Pompeo flew to Italy to arrest the Italian President. Italy had a military grade satellite fly over the USA on voting day that wirelessly hacked into voting machines to change votes from Trump to Biden. (as an IT professional I can state categorically that this is technically impossible)
3. On inauguration day, Trump was going to seize power using the National Guard and arrest Biden then declare himself President for the second term.
4. 'The Kraken' theory from Sidney Powell was real and she was going to prove massive voter fraud perpetrated by the long dead Venezuelan dictator Chavez.

On that basis, the term inane is accurate.

Don't remember seeing Whistler cancel the bet, just you trying to delay payout with lame excuses/stories.

Which, I expect "you cancelled the bet" being another one.

Whistler, did you cancel the bet? Understand you don't care about the money, I'd just like to get it clarified.

I made a simple wager with a few guys, I never expected to see what happened.

A bet on a hand shake is an honourable thing. Not quite a physical handshake, but a close thing. Honesty and integrity is something that makes us feel good. What has happened is dirty, mickojak has soiled that simple act of decency.

LOL, what a dirtbag. Mickojak is claiming he canceled the bet after the results were already in? He went to Trump University, didn't he?
