^ Just when you thought the sleaziest president in living memory couldn't crawl any further into the gutter.
Donald Trump's dirtiest 2020 election trick involves messing with the US Postal Service

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-08-14/ ... s/12554960
If this were happening in an ex-Soviet east European country, or South American banana republic, the US would be screaming that the election was neither free nor fair.

I am a letter carrier at the Post Office, and I can tell you first-hand, this is why he picked this new Postmaster General, a staunch Trump supporter and donor, into that position. These two clowns are single-handedly keeping us from doing our jobs in order to attempt to privatize the post office and to sabotage the upcoming election.

Vanita Gupta, a Justice Department official in the Obama administration and now president and chief executive of the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights, said she viewed the situation as “the weaponization of the U.S. Postal Service for the president’s electoral purposes.”

“It’s completely outrageous that the U.S. Postal Service is in this position,” Gupta said.

This is way below the level of governance expected in a first tier democracy. Banana republic status beckons.

Another rat deserts the sinking ship. Miss "Alternative Facts" is out the door.
Donald Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway announces her resignation ahead of US election

White House adviser Kellyanne Conway has announced she is leaving the administration of US President Donald Trump.

In a statement on Sunday, Ms Conway said she would depart at the end of this month.

She said she wanted to spend more time with her family.

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-08-24/ ... s/12589290
Her husband George, who was a founder of the Trump-baiting Lincoln Project, is also leaving that group.

Must be fun times around the Conway dinner table at night. :D

That walk away double act is a more strategic hit to the White House admin than it is to the left.

I predict some simply AWESOME revenge sex in the Conway household... maybe even on the Conway dinner table.

We've apparently got 4 days in a row of the Drongo in Chief centre stage this week. I expect the Republican Party will be making a total ass of itself.

^ The Donald is bloody clueless. These national conventions aren't like election rallies. There's supposed to be 3 or 4 days of invited guests, statesmen and friends telling people why they should nominate their chosen one with that person gracefully accepting it with one speech. Maybe he can't round up enough losers to go public and stump for his sad and increasingly irrelevant arse? Maybe nobody wants to?

With three of Fox News grandees recently giving sleepy Joe Biden a big thumbs up, even his Fox & Friends former breakfast phone-in buddies are avoiding him like the plague. Has Hannity claimed he's still got preferred guest access at Mar-A-Lago recently?

This will make you smile folks :

GUESS WHO

An Israeli doctor says: "In Israel medicine is so advanced that we can cut off a man's testicles, put them on another man and in 6 weeks he is looking for work."

The German doctor says: "That's nothing. In Germany we take part of a brain, put it in another man and in 4 weeks he is looking for work."

The Russian doctor says: "Gentlemen, we take half a heart from a man, put it in another's chest and in 2 weeks he is looking for work."

The U.S. doctor laughs: "You all are behind us. Three years ago, we took a man with no brains, no heart and no balls and made him President. Now the whole country is looking for work!"

This particular joke won an award for the best joke in a competition held in Britain.

This definitely sums it up the situation in the US.

In 780 AD ? Give us a date of the price of gold . start about 1700 OK 1850 AD . 20 dollars an oz . sold it for 10 x what the UK got it for . how about 2200AD when gold will be worth 50000 dollars. Time changes the price of everything. Eventually even a friggin banana will cost you 100,000 dollars in some time in the future like it cost you one penny in the past. What could you buy 30 years ago for 275 dollars , and what could you buy for 275 dollar's now ? One word ..,inflation. Buy the way it was invested in the stock market . they bought shares in Apple and Microsoft ..HeHe
