Not many know just how bad his management style was. The guy hardly slept, was a micromanager, a ditherer. He used to start on the whisky around 7:00pm, work until the early hours and grew more demanding and difficult as the night progressed.
However, horses for courses. He will not be managing a whole country, this role suits him better, he was a successful career diplomat before he went into politics, so has a proven track record in diplomatic service. Albo and the other Labor ministers know him very well, I think they are in a far better position to judge his ability for this role than either you or me. My opinion for what it is worth, is it is an ideal role for him. I have had some interaction with him in the past, so base this view on what I have seen and what others whose opinion I value as well.
