Billionaire politician: Summer of Trump

Anyone without a physical or mental handicap can support themseves. And no, lazy doesn't count as a handicap!
I agree with that. But the ultra-rich Walmart family has no problem with leaving it up to taxpayers like us to insure their employees can eat.
Report: Walmart Workers Cost Taxpayers $6.2 Billion In Public Assistance
Walmart’s low-wage workers cost U.S. taxpayers an estimated $6.2 billion in public assistance including food stamps, Medicaid and subsidized housing, according to a report published to coincide with Tax Day, April 15.

I also take pride in the fact that even in tough times I've paid my financial obligations even when I could have "used the laws of this country" and filed bankruptcy.
Donald Trump brags about how well his businesses have fared in bankruptcy. And in fact, no major U.S. company has filed for Chapter 11 more than Trump's casino empire in the last 30 years.
"I have used the laws of this country ... the [bankruptcy] chapter laws, to do a great job for my company, for myself, for my employees, for my family," he said during the first Republican presidential debate on August 6.

When it comes down to money, personal pride doesn't seem to be a virtue of the rich.

Trump concludes his debate answer with this:
Donald Trump: "...I made a lot of money in Atlantic City and I'm very proud of it I want to tell you that. Very very proud of it."
Donald Trump's casinos are left to go into bankruptcy over and over again. Thousands of people lose their jobs and investors lose billions of dollars, a city is "Left to whither" and Donald Trump is "Very very proud" of that? Does Donald brag to his one percenter buddies about how he left another mess for the peons to clean up?

The Backstory on Donald Trump's Four Bankruptcies

Bankruptcy does effect taxpayers indirectly, The millions he borrowed from banks and bond holders that he did not pay back can then write-off the loss and pay less income tax.
So we taxpayers again will pick up the slack.

A unifier or a divider? Trumps greatest hits

The cause of violence at Trump rallies?
With the cancellation of a Trump rally in Chicago due to protests, and a slew of recent violent encounters between protesters and supporters of Donald Trump -- one of whom assaulted a protester as the police lead him away, and later threatened to kill him -- we are finally seeing the culmination of the Trump campaign's combative, reckless and downright disturbing rhetoric.
Trump is both denying the violent encounters are taking place, and simultaneously blaming Bernie Sanders' supporters, President Obama, the media for overreporting them, and so-called Chicago "thugs."

Still leading in the polls-
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls ... -3823.html

Laterst controversy is his campaign manager "manhandled" a reporter. The security video looks to me like he just moved her out of Trumps way.

Trump talks about it here in the latest town hall and jokes that he may file a counter lawsuit because the reporter touched his arm. -

Business is business. I would rather have someone who made billions in business than someone who had trouble holding down any job= Bernie, or one who has committed so many crimes and only got away with them because the Dems love her=Hilary.

Walmart is a company that employs many people. If they are unhappy working there they have a choice.

As long as people keep blaming the rich and the corporations the leave the real bandits alone, the politicians that have stabbed us in the back for decades.

The US Border Patrol Union has endorsed Trump. This is the first time they have endorsed a primary candidate.

National Border Patrol Council Endorses Donald Trump for President

Published: Wednesday, 30 March 2016 13:42
The National Border Patrol Council is the official organization representing our nation’s Border Patrol Agents. We represent 16,500 agents who selflessly serve this country in an environment where our own political leaders try to keep us from doing our jobs.

The NBPC has had a longstanding practice of not endorsing presidential candidates in the primaries. We will not, however, shy away from voicing our opinions as it pertains to border security and the men and women of the United States Border Patrol. As such, we are breaking with our past practice and giving our first-ever endorsement in a presidential primary. We think it is that important: if we do not secure our borders, American communities will continue to suffer at the hands of gangs, cartels and violent criminals preying on the innocent. The lives and security of the American people are at stake, and the National Border Patrol Council will not sit on the sidelines.

Hillary Clinton:

- best mates with Wall Street
- very keen on spending taxpayers' money on war and bombs

Think twice.

Wall street shark Ashter Edelman supports Sanders?-

-------------------------
Interesting psychological speculation on Trump-
---Donald Trump’s series of extraordinary statements this week — on abortion and the Geneva Conventions, criticizing Wisconsin governor Scott Walker for not raising taxes, and attacking the character of a reporter his campaign manager has been arrested for manhandling — make such speculation inevitable. “The number of people who have emailed me asking me if I think Trump is trying to do himself damage intentionally isn’t small,” tweeted Maggie Haberman of the New York Times. “Trump is playing into his opponents’ memes — phony, unprepared, hostile to women, unelectable, not a Republican, sloppy, vindictive, chaotic,” added Mark Halperin of Bloomberg News. In a taped interview he gave to business journalist Michael D’Antonio for his book Never Enough: Donald Trump and the Pursuit of Success, Trump himself admitted, “I don’t like to analyze myself because I might not like what I see.” D’Antonio’s conclusion in the book was that “Trump was willing to say and do almost anything to satisfy his craving for attention.

I hear ya. But IF he were to get the nomination the polls show him beating Trump by a larger margine than Clinton. (Of course polls can be wrong).

Trump vs Sanders-
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls ... -5565.html

Trump vs Clinton-
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls ... -5491.html

Sanders is winning among the younger voters.
In the Iowa entrance poll (which questions voters on the way into a caucus, rather than on their way out the door, like “exit polls” in primaries) Sanders amassed astounding margins among young people. He crushed Clinton by an almost unimaginable six to one—84 percent to 14 percent—among voters younger than 30. For those tempted to dismiss that as just a campus craze, he also routed her by 58 percent to 37 percent among those aged 30 to 44.
But Clinton’s margins were almost as impressive among older voters: she beat Sanders 58 percent to 35 percent among those aged 45-64, and by 69 percent to 26 percent among seniors.
http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc ... ap/459570/
Superdelegates can change who they support. Currently the vast majority of them (469 out of 712) say they will vote for Clinton. If Sanders does win a majority of the voter delegates, there will be pressure on the supers to back him.

Even Bill said he'd vote for Sanders if he wins the popular vote-
In an interview with the New York Daily News during a campaign stop, President Clinton said he would use his superdelegate vote in New York to support Bernie Sanders if he wins the Democratic nomination over wife Hillary Clinton.

Drumpf pushed his self-destruct button again this week. And he survived again.

It's hard to position him on the political spectrum as he's all over the place. He kind of looks left of the Wall Street candidate to me.

I think the establishment is going to do the dirty on him at the Republican convention as the Drumpf ride seems to get wilder and wilder as the weeks pass.

He is definitely to the "Right" of either of the 2 Dems, and even to the right of the other Rep candidates.

Honestly I am of the opinion that the Dems could run a chimpanzee and still win, and the Reps could run a modern day Joan of Arc and still lose.

I think the thrice married Mr. Drumpf would be more popular in a Soi Samphan bar than at the Republican Convention among all the folks who married their childhood sweetheart and are still married. If he wasn't so wealthy there would probably have been a Thai Mrs. on his cv at some stage.

I see Obama's ratings are climbing sharply as Americans ponder some of the future alternatives. I expect the history books are going to be surprisingly kind to Obama given the political climate during his presidency.
