Well written and showing a level of eloquence provided by the Scottish education system before it was destroyed by the SNP.
More power to the previous system, and their promotion of eloquence.

But obviously a huge fail on punctuation, and the lack of recognition of the importance of paragraphs. ;)

Has the SNP picked up on that?
Deary me, another yawn from our lover of tall guys in very short shorts.

Actually the SUN set on many European countries post the First world War which was only some 104 years ago , so your facts as usual are wrong. When the Queen was crowned she was also the Empress of India as well as head of the Commonwealth and the Enpire as well as the the Unitied Kingdom and that was in 1953 , a mere 67 ye4ars ago .

Many countries found their far flung colonies under threat from the then NEW NORM , Germany, France, Holland and the UK . Most colonies belonging to the UK , joined the current Commonwealth of Nations of which I believe are over 50 making iot the largest by population and land mass of any non-political organisation . Unlike the USA who has been seen to destroy friends for their own selfish good.

Again agreeing with you, it must be a Sunday!!!. Amazing how many people throw up history from 300 years ago and ignore the RECENT past from their own homeland. Land of the Free as long as you are White.

If that's all you gleaned from my clear and eloquent invocation for Tories to try and think outside the Boris box, then I fear that your presupposed, pre-SNP education either fell on cloth ears or you didn't even get one in the first place.

The clue to the latter was your strident but woefully predictable 'but Abbott' screech at the end of your somewhat parochial, punctuation-free and comprehension-void diatribe that even others with no real dogs in this fight have already commented on.

Ha Ha well checked with your Thaurasis. "You missed the point"?. Answer the question instead of trying to personally insult. Never let facts get in the way of our MANTRA. Sorry Tam but getting predictable now. (and you a Jock!)

I think you might find that was the scientists who work for Pfizer and Oxford university, I'm sure Boris thinks test tubes are for drinking shots at his favourite night club.

And the reason is that the percentage of African origin coloured people in Scotland being way less than your God Fearing, law abiding, slightly nuts Nation may be that our whole economy was not built on slavery before masses of cheap labour came to the US from European Nations from the early 20th Century . I stand by my previous statement that was not a lecture just an opinion being stated. Can you just confirm to other forum members when the Declaration of Independence was signed and when Blacks were allowed to vote and when mixed race schools were allowed all over the USA just to show how equal you are.

I wonder who was the last British PM to own slaves. I don't think Mr. Johnson owns any. Perhaps Mrs Thatcher kept a few Argies as slaves. :^o

Your arse there was.

Yes, Scottish slave TRADERS were profligate and the West Indies saw slave workers provided by these Scottish purveyors of misery but there was no mass importation of black slave labor INTO Scotland to work in the leather, textiles, iron, coal, sugar, rope, sailcloth, glass-works, breweries, and soap-works industries that fueled Scotland's industrial revolution.

"At any given time there were only about 70 or 80 slaves in Scotland but the country reaped the fruits of their labour in the colonies in the sugar, cotton and tobacco plantations. Many Scots masters were considered among the most brutal, with life expectancy on their plantations averaging a mere four years."

you brits & scots are so desperate to erase centuries of history . you ran slave forts on west coast of africa. you shipped millions of slaves to
dozens of islands in caribbean to run your various plantations . so brutal and cruel often life expectancy was but a few years. and despite mansions & streets and monuments celebrating these slave lords in your own countries , you want
us to believe , none were ever kept in the u.k.
