Phukit Pool on the ring road opposite Global House handles Hayward products. I'm sure they can arrange to repair the motor.

FWIW I had a motor rewound at a local repair shop near me, AFIR the cost was about ฿3,000. IMO you do NOT want to contact a pool shop, they don’t have the skill set required

The pool shop will send the motor out for repairs.

I've had both my pumps repaired by them at what I considered to be a reasonable cost. However, the motor did not need to be rewound. The only thing needed was to replace either/both seals. The mechanical seal is the more expensive of the 2 to replace. The repairs were never done by the pool shop. Replacement parts especially Hayward can be very expensive.

thanks mike , not all things got more expensive , i am very price conscious , a simple comparison with other shops and internet is the most easy , many differences in prices for the same items, and yes shipping charges are expensive surely coming from Europe or the US , not from china though...
and stww , you have a better location as shop near you ? , thanks
so i will check first if i can solve it myself by opening the motor ,replacing the bearings (does not have to bearing with the hayward stamp) the motor is stuck in his bearing ,so hopefully electrical still ok , pump has been standing idle (not used) for more than 6 year....,the water seals of pump housing are easy to find ...but first the motor must work ... ;)

OK Kop good luck. I just thought of something.
There's a machine shop run by a very nice Viet Thai guy who speaks very good English who may be able to help you. The shop is located on the ring road at the intersection of Posri Rd. His shop is located right next to Faroh Steak House. I've used his shop several times in the past. If he can't do the work then I would be willing to bet he can direct you to the correct shop.

Bearings are best bought from a specialist bearing supplier other shops will mark up the prices by several hundreds of percent.

No bearings are special you need the; bore, OD, width, and the seals used.
Don’t buy from anyone other than a bearing maker like SKF

Do check that the bearing seals or protective covers are also correct, there are at least 4 or more different ones all of them have the same dimensions and will fit but may not be suitable. There are also different tolerance grades and differing speed ratings.
If you have taken the bearing out the numbers should be stamped on the bearing itself, cheaper Chinese bearings may not be stamped.

Details relevant are here https://www.skf.com/binaries/pub12/Imag ... 121486.pdf

small conclusion here , i went out to the city to find some bearings , but ended up quickly returning , too hot and too many bo mie , they do not have SFK bearings , so i ordered them on internet , (also for 2 other pumps ) and i ordered a rubber seal set for the hayward on shopee for 200 baht incl. delivery , cleaned up and tested the motor and was working , so mounted the motor back to the water housing part and did a test run .....
20230610_111440[1] (Copy).jpg

and working fine :D , so it was an easy and cheap fix , total costs , seal set 200 + 2 bearings 203 , total 403 baht,
i will store it as a spare pump...thanks to all the responders here ... ;)
