Oh dear, all those rantings by a certain left wing member about how we missed the EU procurement boat! 555

The forest was shrinking daily but the trees kept voting for the axe as its handle was made of wood and they thought it was one of them.

I live in rural Bandung. Yesterday, just before I was leaving my house for a morning walk, the Village Headman addressed us all using the village-wide loudspeaker system. Our Village Headman is not one for making daily broadcasts, therefore all were ears when he started to speak.

He announced that children under five and old people over 70 were required to stay at home until the end of the month. The old people's names and addresses were read out and my name was on the list.

Did any other members of this forum learn of the same restrictions?

I am assuming that this order came from the Governor of Udon Thani and was then sent to each Amphur before it got to the Village Headman. One also hopes that it is part of the proposed plan to lessen the restrictions in certain provinces if the rates of infection remain at zero at the end of the month.
Our village headman yaps twice a day most days
but not said anything like that
I asked my wife who is junior head of our village
she has not been told anything like that and has been to recent meetings at the amphur

Can anyone reasonably intelligent please explain about how filing a TAX return in the US has anything to do with the information based in this post re Covid 19 / Coronavirus .
Answers please , most interesting NOT !
Obviously you are not able to recognize that filing a US tax return has anything to do with the virus. This does happen to be a forum for questions and answers. Go back to sleep.

Just a gut feeling:-
The almighty good general is having great time, "let's keep persecuting the great unwashed, I now have the opportunity to fully control em seeing they are getting hungry"
He has just postponed, for another week, the promise to start lifting sanctions. And announced the 5000 Baht grant will be repeated 8th May.

DON'T EXPECT THE ALCOHOL BAN TO BE LIFTED FOR ANOTHER MONTH, at least.

Does not want to see the poor spending the grant on booze!

Just IMHO

In the meantime...

3,025 household goods prices will be reduced by up to 68%

Doesn't cover the expensive 'essential' imported stuff that the wanabe-Hiso farang ivory tower dwellers need to pop out 2 or 3 times a week to get.

True , but i think its aimed at helping the locals with the basics . Certainly not to help the poor farangs that are still working their bollocks off to get their beer tokens . =;

Only 7 new cases today but with 2 deaths and 43 recovered.
It appears that all 7 cases were in Phuket.
