Re: Immigration Office
On the days that immigration is open they open at 8:30, but as has been mentioned today is a national holiday for the new queen's birthday, so both immigration and Banks are closed.
However if the immigration letter is being asked for by a bank branch an alternative is having a Thai national (preferably one with a banking relationship to that bank) go with you and if refused at one bank branch just go on to another. I did not need an immigration letter when opening any of my bank accounts.

In my posts all fees and requirements are the standard R&R but TIT and a brown envelope can make incredible changes YMMV.

This is the Bangkok Bank in Udon Thani. They seem to be a bit more dificult when opening an account

Re: Immigration Office
Just go on to another branch, and try again. Do you have a Thai national available? That may avoid the letter requirement.pipoz4444 wrote: ↑June 3, 2019, 11:11 amThanks STWW.
