I was going to post an article about a former police employee in Udon found with several vehicles and a boatload (40+) of motorcycles in his two homes.....along with weapons and ammunition.
Instead, there's this glimmer of good news. A 27 year-old teacher was returning to her vehicle after having lunch on Naresuan Rd (next to the prison) when she spotted some money on the edge of the sidewalk. At first she thought they were fake notes.....but picked them up and discovered them to be real 1000Baht notes......five of them. She went to the police station and turned them in.
I know I know I know........there will be those who don't have rose-colored prescriptions who will think what the police will do with those notes......but that's not part of this story. This story ends in good news.

I lost my wallet in Tesco next to the Pharmacy, I found out later.
The worker in the Pharmacy called my home and told me he had my wallet.
The wallet had over 30,000 Baht in it - I was going to make a major purchase.
That amount of money is surely more than the guy would make in a month or more. But the wallet was returned intact with all the money.
A lot of honest people around!
