If memory serves me correctly, this is the second home burglary in this neighborhood in the past few months.....both involving hospital workers, both involving substantial sums of jewelry and money from home safes. The latest theft included 30 baht of gold, several diamond rings, a couple of diamond necklaces, diamond earrings, lots of valuable amulets and statues, and the deed to a piece of land.....some/or all of the contents being safely kept for the daughter's future wedding.
The thief was apparently wearing a size 8 shoe........dirty footprints left on the sofa.
Neither burglary involved foreigners....but both involved safes kept in homes.
