Just a heads up, the annual cycling event held to celebrate HM Queens birthday will be taking place in Udon center this coming Sunday 21st August. Many roads will be closed and many more congested, so unless viewing or participating the event , best to be avoided .Last year over 10,000 were estimated to have taken part. This year judging by pre registrations so far that number will be well exceeded .If you wish to take part register now for a number and start point. If you wish to be part. of a group it is essential you all register at the same time .http://nwnt.prd.go.th/CenterWeb/NewsEN/ ... 8060010011
URGENT
Whilst writing this I have now received an invitation in Thai from City Hall that indicates the event is taking place not Sunday but Saturday 20th which has now totally confused me , TIT .However the latest letter does give a contact for further details, but of course they are closed today so here goes . registration is at City Hall, Terminal 2 , 3rd floor, or ring 42-221318. No free T shirts this year though.
Bike for Mom.
