Khom Kaen Agricultural Fair

This annual event is currently taking place at the university grounds in KK right now until the end of the month . A must for the keen gardners and for those just wanting a good day out. All sorts of plants and trees, also a livestock section with pets and other animals for sale , ranging from cute kitties to old billy goats.

Good tip. My wife has already gone and picked up some items, but she did not purchase any farm animals.

I've wanted to go to this Fair for years. Thanks for posting. Can someone post the location and directions? And it does run to the 31st of January?

The fair runs through the 4th of Feb. Weekends are very busy/crowded.

If you use google maps, type in Khonkaen University. It will take you to the main entrance. Once you enter the campus, you go straight past the first circle, and I believe turn left at the second circle. You should see signs for the fair.

Thanks Parrot! I'm hoping to find Orchids and Day Lilies. Knowing that the Fair runs to the 4th, we will plan a midweek trip. KK University is on the main KK road if my memory serves me correctly.

Spend an hour looking at all the orchids first, prices do vary quite a lot

Yes, KKU is on the main road, a few km before you enter the city itself.

As you enter the campus, keep your eyes on the road. Way too many distractions.

Khon Kaen University is just a bit south of the Lao Embassy but on the other side of the highway.
