Looking for Activities Environment for 2nd grader

Post by ytrewq » May 27, 2017, 6:26 pm

My 2nd grader is enrolled in a great online school provided by my government (USA), so not looking for a proper school in Udon (or any learning at all, really). Just looking for extracurricular activities where he can make friends and socialize. English or Thai ok. Mixed would be ideal. Preferably west side of town, but central area ok. Other areas are ok if really good environment - just want to avoid traffic and travel time, if possible. Can be scheduled or periodic gatherings.

He's a really high quality great young boy. #1 in his online USA public school class. All positives and no negatives personality-wise. I wish he were my best friend when I was his age, but I'll settle for being his super lucky father. :)

Perhaps you could elaborate on this, I know I - and most likely many more Americans here - would be very interested in hearing about this. Did you enroll him from inside the USA? Is there a website link you could post with information? Thanks!

FREE online public school education are a reality in many states. Check with yours or Google. In my case, I changed my state residency (Declaration of Domicile) on paper and now enjoy many more perks.

As a full time UD resident, it made no sense to cling to a state citizenship that has fewer benefits than other states. It's only paperwork.
