Stickman Comes To Udon Map

Post by Udon Map » July 9, 2019, 4:03 pm

Stickman has been a personal friend for many years. We're pleased to tell you that he has decided to join the Udon Map family, as you can see from the banner on the home page, and has chosen UM as the only website that he's working with up here. From time to time, we hope to bring you special features related to this one man Bangkok institution, including interviews and commentary from Stick himself! For now, enjoy this new and easy way to access his weekly column. Just click on the banner on the front page.

Good addition to be honest. I enjoy his articles.. More expats should have read them before they choose the wrong path...

I am curious how many people actually read Thai Visa. I rarely if ever go there unless sent a link. Way too many ad's and a ------ website.
I like the Thai Tiger and Bangkok post.

I rarely look at Thai Visa but I read Stickman's column almost every week. It covers a lot of ground.

Yes, what Go Go, bars are hot and what the Bar fine charges are in Bangkok. Why do you bother. You live 6000 km's away, why does this interest you. You need to concentrate on a life. I enjoy because I live here.

Stick does not just write about the bar scene, he covers a lot of what is going on in Thailand especially issues regarding foreigners. As well he speaks fluent Thai and probably knows more about Thailand than most of us put together.

10,000 kms. As jai yen yen says, Stickman covers way more than just the bars. It would be a bit of a yawn for me if he was just writing about the bars.

I came across this in a Stickboy opinion piece:

"Stick Media, the owner of Stickboy, Stickman and the soon to launch Thailand Telegraph news site, took over BANGKOK EXPATS back in April as a means to diversify from owning only nightlife focused websites.

Created back in January 2011, as of today the group has 94,531 members who make 3000+ posts per month and comment on average 30,000 times over the same period. The blocked (former) members list number reads 7,865."
