As confirmed by Gareth Southgate's comment last week that "we wouldnt have won the ladies Euros without the LGBT community", they're all rug munchers anyway. No good to any self respecting bloke in the kitchen (or the bedroom) so, let them do what they want.

There's an Irish engineer on this ship who was beating his gums over the ladies footie, saying they should have their own whole sports channel on the telly. When pressed on why this outwardly sexist approach was such a sore spot, he offered that when he sees a link to a scoreline where (say) Leyton Orient hammer Man City four-zip, he gets palpitations until he clicks on the link and sees its the women's league.

He is Irish.
