Got to be Hadrian's wall? Or is that too obvious?

Interestingly Hadrian's wall was build by the Scotts to keep the thieving Geordies out. Not many know that as history books would have you believe it was the other way round. :-$

Had to check as didnt sound like a Jockistan type name ....... Fort Gordon or Fort McTavish may be but GEORGE?

BTW my first guess, not googled (obviously) was digging back about 20 yrs into family history research memory and getting the wrong connection ........... forgotten about the British East India Co links to that part of the world so assumed it had to do with early settlers ......... note to self, revisit that side of family research asap
