Looks as if a deal has been agreed. Pretty positive announcements from Downing St. Lets see what's in the wee weasel words that the Lawyers have concocted. Formal speeches about now/soon, hope the Pound goes up as quickly as it came down in 2016.

Well Well Well who said the Uk could never get a deal or leave Europe?? Not only has the deal been done were are out of Europe on Dec 31st. We got most what we wanted our own laws our own fishing the right to trade who we want to deal with. So no more running to the European human rights anymore.

Im not sure about the UK winning Vlad .. too many compromises IMO and not been clearly confirmed on the fishing part of the agreement / deal.

Many who lent Boris their vote last election wont be happy .. and the way the French especially have acted and threatened the thought of a deal has left me a tad melancholy this xmas morn..... im sure Mr Farage will also feel the same and speed up his plans for Reform UK party.

IMO Boris wants out of Number 10 .. hes had a horrible term as PM , already complaining about the poor salary etc and i expect him to resign some time during 2021.

Boris has ALWAYS been about having the position of PM without having to actually do anything Prime Ministerial. The bully boy that the Tories needed to "get Brexit done" since the rest of the Tories may as well have chucked it in and signed up for ANY of the opposition parties, such is there enduring contempt for the poor folk.

Brexit happened months ago ..the trade deal and transition period is almost upon us yet as details start to emerge of the "air fried deal" Boris secured it appears there are section within that tie the UK to EU ... overall it may be a better deal for the UK then EU but thats open to conjecture and at best minimal ..its seems many in the UK wanted a total break on NO deal terms .. and it still leaves Boris on a sticky wicket come the next election only IFanother party is formed as Labour are in fighting and un electable.

Super Jocks Sturgeon and Blackford will never stop whinging for INDREF2 and rejoining the EU .. the elections North of the border will be very interesting though i would think a period to see just how well or badly the UK does from the current man sized portion AF deal before our tartan loving friends choose to jump ship ... also will the EU now be the same EU in 2 , 5 10 years time as other nations may also vote to leave if things are much improved for the UK ..Italy , Netherlands , Denmark Poland and Hungary now already have political parties pushing for leave.
