I suspect a large percentage of the population would have preferred it if they hadn't written 'em like that back then either

A 70’s playlist at Chez Niggles this morning.
Obviously, I’m too young to remember these tracks when first released

Super, smashing, great.
Now the points you’ve just won, they’re safe.

As a bonus can you tell me the first album Johnson appeared on with AC/DC?

Given the circumstances under which he joined AC/DC, would have to be Back in Black.

(Does it come with a trailer?)

It was definitely Back in Black, 1980, the same year Bon Scott died. I remember that specifically because that was the year Def Leppard made their first album and the year Ozzy Osbourne made his first solo album after leaving Black Sabbath.

Yaaaay, everyone’s a winner. Unfortunately, all prize giving has had to be postponed indefinitely due to potential congregation of crowds

PS
I’m still not old enough to remember these tunes............... or am I?

Not hating on Brian Johnson, but I really preferred AC/DC with Bon Scott, because they were more bluesy, if that's even a word. I think Bon Scott had more range and diversity than Brian Johnson.

But as far as albums go, IMO, AC/DC Back in Black and Rush Moving Pictures are two albums that had both quality songs and quantity of songs. All the songs on both these albums were pretty badass. Not a bad song on either album.

I have to confess even though I was very late to the party, Rush 2112 was a fantastic album
