Not (necessarily) so - I have my yellow house book ID number on my Thai drivers license.

Maybe not for paying utilities at Tesco, but I've used it for check in on domestic flights, ID at banks, and the police seem to like them.

Are you by your remark stating that Brits are NOT to be trusted, treading on very thin ICE. I have over the years known many here of all Nationalities , none I would say deserve that accusation least of all the Western nations represented here, but I will say when it comes to BS, the Americans are the best at it !

Needed id a month ago but went today and no id required from young woman I do not know at all
