Official language
Although most Americans speak English, the country does not have an official language.
And that's their problem right there.

Cricket Australia approved ball-tampering plans well ahead of 2018 Cape Town scandal
Just more of passing the blame "he told me to do it" anything goes to win

That's not what your linked article says, noos.

Just to be clear:
David Warner's manager claims Cricket Australia approved ball-tampering plans well ahead of Cape Town scandal
My emphasis.

Great Emu War, spanning just over a month in 1932, was serious business.

I see that some have acknowledged that Qatar is a Muslim country . Yes it is predominately of Muslim faith, but many do not know the facts regarding religion .

Qatar is an Islamic state with multi-religious minorities like most of the Persian Gulf countries with waves of migration over the last 30 years. Muslims form 65.5% of the Qatari population, followed by Hindus at 15.4%, Christians at 14.2%, Buddhists at 3.3% and the rest 1.9% of the population follow other religions or are unaffiliated. Qatar is also home to numerous other religions mostly from the Middle East and Asia.

The country has also hosted numerous interfaith dialogue conferences.

It also houses a Roman Catholic Cathedral

The Emus won!
Campion is an abandoned townsite in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, on the Koorda–Bullfinch Road. The closest locality is Chandler and the closest main town is Mukinbudin.

Campion was named after Sir William Campion, the Governor of Western Australia from 1924 to 1931. Nearby Lake Campion was also named in his honour.

The town was established by former soldiers as part of a soldier settlement scheme. A school was built in 1925, and in 1927 a railway siding was constructed. The siding remained in operation until 1957.

The Campion district was the site of the so-called "Great Emu War" of 1932.

boondoggle

noun | BOON-dah-gul

A boondoggle is a wasteful or impractical project or activity that usually involves public money or labor. Boondoggle is also a word for a braided cord worn by Boy Scouts as a neckerchief slide, hatband, or ornament.

// Critics say the dam is a complete boondoggle—over budget, behind schedule, and unnecessary.

First person to swim the English Channel
Captain Matthew Webb (1848–1883), from Dawley in Shropshire, England, became the first person to swim the English Channel, making landfall near Calais on August 24, 1875, after nearly 22 hours in the water.
WHY you ask, ANSWER, Because it hadnt been done

That's a really long swim, Shropshire to Calais, and in only 22 hours, remarkable.

A WOMAN was flying from Melbourne to Brisbane ...
Unexpectedly, the plane was diverted to Sydney.
The flight attendant explained that there would be a delay, and if the passengers wanted to get off the aircraft the plane would re-board in 50 minutes..
Everybody got off the plane except one lady who was blind.
A man had noticed her as he walked by and could tell the lady was blind because her Seeing Eye Dog lay quietly underneath the seats in front of her throughout the entire flight.
He could also tell she had flown this very flight before because the pilot approached her, and calling her by name, said, 'Kathy, we are in Sydney for almost an hour. Would you like to get off and stretch your legs?'
The blind lady replied, 'No thanks, but maybe Max would Like to stretch his legs.'
Picture this:
All the people in the gate area came to a complete standstill when they looked up and saw the pilot walk off the plane with a Seeing Eye dog!
The pilot was even wearing sunglasses.
People scattered.
They not only tried to change planes, but they were trying to change airlines!
True story...
Have a great day and remember...
...THINGS AREN'T ALWAYS AS THEY APPEAR.
A DAY WITHOUT LAUGHTER IS A DAY WASTED!!!

Pickup trucks in Hawaii
While Alaska doesn’t want to see flying dogs, Hawaii is less concerned. The state lets drivers transport passengers in the back of their pickup truck when certain conditions are met. The law states the passengers riding in the cargo box need to be at least 12-years old and that all of the seats in the cab need to be occupied. It’s a common – and controversial – practice in the state.
