I believe that without Churchill, England would have fallen and the English people would now be speaking German. MANY other countries recognized the threat and suffered far more than the USA. As someone mentioned, ask Russia. The US had many German immigrants who were loath to fight Germany regardless of what Hitler did.

Of course the bleeding heart liberals will find many detrimental things to say about Churchill. They are the same people who whine and criticize the US and allies for killing civilians. They simply ignore the fact that ISIS doesn't follow any rules. War is Hell. Innocent people die every day simply for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.Some may not be as innocent as the bleeding hearts think.
