I haven't smoked weed in more than 30 years, but I do use a marijuana based salve that a friend formulates to relieve pain. It is quite effective in relieving the pain in my right ankle caused by traumatic arthritis. I only use it when in the US. And no, it doesn't get me high. When in Thailand I use other topical pain relievers.

Coming to a neighborhood near you, pending final approval: Hospitals in Kumpawaphi, Sakaew, Chiangpen, Bandung, Nongwahsaw, among others in Udon province will be allowed to grow a limited number of 'squirrel tail' variety marijuana plants obtained from Sakhonnakhon. All the extract will be sent to the hospital in Kumphawaphi.

Hopefully the administrators of the Ban Dung Crown Prince hospital (et al) won't be put on "no fly" bans by the dopey (no pun intended) idiots who set the policy for the US Dept of Homeland Security (sic).

Never smoked a normal ciggy or a spliff .. never will pointless and theres enough pollution in the air that gets inside yer lungs without adding to it.

There are things that can be smoked but not the above.

I have tried it but didn't like the way it made me feel. I have no problem with it. A good friend of mine smokes it constantly and also bakes with it. It simply isn't for me.

old thread reignited ... the factory outlet based near us is now selling chilled Cannabis drinks , havent a clue whats its all about and have no intention in trying one this post was more to inform the perils of smoking FULL STOP .. and a sneaky revenue tax hike on normal ciggies from 1st October.

Fortunately DM has never smoked so the perils of smoking as well as being expensive it kills you dont factor with me.

It's a real shame there are so few treatments for Wuhan Flu. Kinda strange innit? The "vaccinate!" mantra is sucking the air outta the room. Fewer than 4 percent of people who contract Wuhan Flu get sick enough to be hospitalized. Let that sink in -- less than 4%. You would be forgiven for thinking self-treatment regimes would be more widely publicized. But they are not ... Why? Because this is a mild medical cyclical issue transformed into an intentionally hysterical political crisis. The health of citizens is nowhere near the main objective of governments.

Yeah, who knows, maybe ingesting poisonous fumes into your lungs is the answer. Give it a shot. And if you are jailed for breaking the law, there are lots of prisoners being treated for Wuhan Flu. You'll be in good company.

yeah, don't get vaccinated, particularly if you're over 50. So giggle me this, what's the death rate for above 50's who catch COVID-19?? https://www.statista.com/statistics/119 ... by-age-us/

U.S. stats..

Total Dead: 672,021.

Under 50: around 38,000..

The older you are, the worse your chances if you catch it, particularly if unvaccinated..

oh, and for Thailand, please look at those daily figures. Invariably 70% of the reported dead are over 60 and almost all unvaccinated.

last and least, back to topic.. No, I smoke nothing since my lungs are not good anyway.. Smoked some dope as a youngster but never much and got over it...

I sometimes smoke marijuana. It helps me chill out and deal with stress. I think it's good that places are starting to make it legal because it means you can get it safely.

I'm pretty careful about where I buy my weed. For the past year, I've only been getting it from this dispensary called Cornerstone Wellness, which is located at 2551 Colorado Blvd in Los Angeles. They're good at their work, and their stuff is always top quality. I appreciate that they take the time to explain different strains and their effects. Plus, I feel safer knowing that what I'm buying is checked and legit.

I was recently diagnosed with a health condition which is controlled by a medication that has various side effects including bone pain and insomnia. I asked my Hematologist if she could recommend CBD or Ganja Oil or Marijuana to help with these side effects. The question was met with a resounding "NO" in all cases. There was no doubt in my mind that she really didn't have a clue; but like most Thais, when they don't know the answer to a question, they simply respond with the default answer of "NO". The "face" thing always takes priority over finding a solution to a problem.

There is a pub next to my hotel in BKK this week that sells many varieties of flower, CBD, THC and other oils, cookies, gummies and many rolling papers and no need to roll papers. Pipes one hitters and the coolest double bong/huka I have seen in ages were also available. Pakalolo is the name and apparently they have a few locations in greater Bangkok.

The place also had like 20 Thai craft beers on tap and collaborated with the restaurant next door for food that could be consumed in this place. The manager said they planned to make the beer taps refitted with NFC readers effectively allowing the customer to tap their phone and pour their own beer. They already had the taps pointing out from the middle bar area and the employees were well versed in all products making for quite an education when greeted and discussion while helping one choose which beer to try (samples available as well).

The thing I was really surprised about was they had a full on smoking room as well to sample products or just get baked.

I had a couple of 330ml drafts when I stumbled into the place on my way back from dinner last night. I didn't partake in the smoking room but was amazed that was now something available in Thailand.

My how times have changed for the better in the Big Mango alas they closed at midnight so I had to limit my beer intake.
