I've tried loads of different varieties wazza, they all grow well even produce the purple flower head, but none have even shown the slightest hint that they may produce any fruit

Re: Gardening
I thought there was a landscaping thread in udonmap, but I can't find it, so.......
These ferns are pretty common in Thailand......they grow easily enough....thrive in only partially sunny places.....like water. If you have a large fern of this type in the yard, the spores will spread and they're easy to transplant. Our gardener like to take a small hand-sized plant, add just a handful of finely shredded coconut to the bottom of the plant, and afix it to a tree. The leaves begin to grow and the 'root ball' will grow as well onto the bark of the tree. This particular fern has been attached to this pine tree for about a year. It's actually quite exposed to the sun, so I need to water it a bit more frequently.

Parrot
Thanks for the idea with this plant.
Do you think they can be mounted on a concrete post?
I bought the missus an early Christmas gift today.
She couldn’t wait to get home and put it to work and she just finished her night shift in the garden, shredding the hedges. Had to call her in to cook dinner.
I like the Green Works tools and didn’t think they were sold in Udon. Checked our hardware guy and there was the hedge trimmer. 40AH battery and 60cm blades.

Re: Gardening
I have a Greenworks 40 volt chainsaw and a leaf blower. They both use the same battery and charger. My wife uses them both and both are much easier to use than the benzine powered ones. Very good battery life and plenty of power besides being fairly quiet. Excellent products. Highly recommended.Barney wrote: ↑November 23, 2019, 7:21 pmParrot
