Beware of Lazada.

I Ordered a couple of products Today,Total To Pay was 2895 Baht I Normally pay COD But on this occasion decided to pay with my English Bank VISA Debit Card,Payment was being processed but then it came up Card Declined ( I Knew I Had almost 1000gbp in my account,So I contacted Lazada to ask why ?? Their answer...."We DON'T Accept International Cards either Credit or Debit" Well Lazada YOU Are going to lose a LOT of customers to the likes of e-bay....IMHO !!

That's information is not entirely correct regarding the use of credit cards. I use my US BOA credit card all the time however the billing address is here in Thailand. Another hurtle to overcome is your browser. Lazada will not accept my CC payment using Firefox but will using IE. Go figure.

PC or mobile? I always use my PC to place the order. BTW have you cleaned out the cookies and or did a thorough cleaning of your computer?

PC Mike, No I've Not cleared the cookies ......NO Other problems with my Debit Card recently made transactions on Skyscanner & Skype Both of which were accepted...

Just for the heck of it clean out the cookies and do a restart. I use a program called Bleachbit to clean my PC. CCleaner is also available and does a good job as well. Do you have any other CCs that you can try?

Now you've got me. I have no explanation for why they are still accepting my BOA card as long as I process it via IE. Maybe best to use your CC/Debit card from your Thai bank account to see if that makes it through. Or use the pay on delivery or pay at 7/11

for some reason lazada is going through big changes . 2 years , not sure but around 70,000 baht spent with not a problem until this year . was excellent service with kerry and sometimes dhl delivery
First they stated using cg gls for delivery and i have now found out they only have delivery vans in the southern big cities . Bkk chon burri , ubon ratchathani etc which is why out of 3 deliveries i only got 1 when i complained and that was by private car with just my parcel and every review for this korean company is terrible .
they have taken their email address and call centre phone number off their web page . I still have then but they have not answered 3 emails and there is no option on the phone number to speak to an agent.
You cannot just return anymore you have to arrange it with the seller as i did but the seller say he does not accept returns or give refunds . you then have to open a dispute with lazada which i did but just got the message return rejected. It still says you can return within 7 days even for just changing your mind so do not know why my return was rejected as lazada agent could not tell me.
went on chat to find out . usually get an agent straight away but first time i was 17 in the queue , next time was 10 and after an hour got down to 3 then gave up , last time was 8 and after 40 minutes got an agent who was useless . not sure if they were using google translate or when i asked a simple question would take 5 minutes to answer so gave up on that and now disappointed . I will wait for a while before i try to order again

Really very strange Alan. I guess you have 3 options to use: Thai bank card, Pay on delivery or pay at 7/11 (there's a charge for using this 7/1 service)

I Have a Thai Account Mike, But NO Card as I Don't like they way they do them here ( Not have your name on ) Only something like the one I Used to have had " Privileged Customer " on it !!
