Thunder & Lightning Storm with high Winds from 11.30hrs Last Night for about 30 Mins,NO Rain yet again But Power Off for 3 Bloody Hours from 0045 Until 0335.....Very Sweaty Night....

Apparently quite a bit of rain yesterday, so I am told (not sure if was in the day time or night time before) down my way midway bewteen Ban Chan and Wa Pa Ban Tat (South side of Udon Thani ring road)

50 klicks southeast , little rain 2am , 42 degrees now , now well into week 4 of this 38-44 degrees ,just as a note the worse i recall in the last 20 years ,this went on for 6 weeks solid ,

A few days ago someone said that we are stuck under high pressure front and until it moves the weather will not change from Hot & Dry. Not sure how or where to get that info but maybe a change coming?

Yesterday hit 40ºC at my place in shade, expect the same today.

Had to let the dogs come inside and sir in the a/c. Bloody scorcher today. Had our 2 hamsters die of hear exhaustion last week, poor buggers were in the shade with a fan and plenty of water.

Mrs M wasn't best pleased, a few of her Tilapia went belly up, probably through the heat, however the problem was soon solved after she culled most of them and sold them to the villagers who turned up to help catch, kill and gut them.

We in Nong Khai have just had a largish Thunderstorm& Heavyish Rain for 10 Minutes.....COOLER !!

5pm yesterday very strong Trop rolled in. Structural damage to roofs etc in the villages. High winds. Torrential rain. The worse part lasting one and a half hours. Electric off for 12hours .stopped raining 6am today. Kumphawapi area
