I understand the need for reporting of weather offshore or at sea (I myself have been) but here in Udon, nope.

So, I just stuck my head outside and its Hot and Sunny , enough for me here in Udon

Weather reports are better understood if you stick your head outside the door/window and have a look.

Gotta love a sceptic! thankfully the millions of people working at sea and onshore have more "faith"
Countless lives are saved yearly with weather forecasting, not many are by sticking one head out of the door!

Oh I do not know, once on a short Naval Cruise the Master Mariner accompanying us stuck his head out of the wheelhouse door, , stating a storm coming and bugger me it did 30 mins later a Force 5 for about 40 odd minutes . Not forecasted at all. when asked how ,he simply said I smelt it. nuff said .

Believe it or not, because less aircraft flying,Weather info not so available.
Apparently They use flights to check. That's what I read anyway!

Gonad n Crack drenching , sticky and orrible for a few days more as well .. no sign of any real rain for Udon on the 10 day forecast ... tho BKK and Patts had a real dollop last 2 days

1st Forecast with ANY Rain is on the 10th with Max Temps of 35c with a 52% Chance of a Thunderstorm, Then Also for the following 6 Days,With the 12th Looking very promising with A Max of 31c & 62% Of R-A-I-N !!!

Well yesterday was HOT, however following my normal look at various weather forecasting sites, middle next week even hotter for 3 to 5 days each day forecasting 40+ then a sudden drop back to mid 30's.

So it maybe hot but will be getting a tad hotter next week.
