Yes I know but the THAI system precludes many from giving, until they remove the disoarity there will be problems and as I AM O NEG MYSELF I KNOW THE PROBLEMS AND attempted to address them when I had the ear of no 1 doctor in the province the Chief Medical Officer, he agreed with me but it seems since then the Thai Red Cross for all their posturing work against farangs giving blood ,m age, mad cow disease, etc that offering my blood and repeatedly being told NO, I now never bother to offer, waste of my time `

People keep asking, I to am at risk should i need it but in 20 years the situation has not changed , may hear it often but the Thais by virtue of their outdated rules deny many able volunteers to donata .
Heard stories of women requiring o neg during pregnancy and just able to find it at the last minute . The doblem if not solved will only get worse not better
