A breakthrough in clean energy?

Post by Whistler » December 13, 2022, 4:26 pm

I had a bumper sticker in Texas that read 'Beam me up Scotty'. I often wish I could find one in Udon Thani

You've lost me, Statts. Not difficult, I know, but what's the Mr Sheen reference?

Here's something to complement Whistler's post.

Clean energy, climate change, a very popular subject on this forum, scores of posts by many members. You made dozens of posts about the AFL, what has that got to do with Udon?

If there is a thread you have where you have no interest, don't read it, but don't prejudge others who may have different interests

This is Big News for the Future, took long enough!!!! So, hopefully in under 20 years gas and power prices will nose dive (won't be in my life time, but more importantly it'll improve the quality of life for my daughter).

Bill Nye's fusion power explanation bit rough, but got enough out of it.

I doubt that it will be ready in 20 years. 60 years ago, fusion power was a 'decade' away. Now 9 'years' away? Reality at least 30 years before a fully working power station opens, and that will still be experimental. To late to fix the climate crisis i expect.

Need for clean energy

Will need less if we use less That is the place to start

Drive around at night or even day time and see all the lights on. Raise the temp setting on AC's

Walked into some shops today with an outside Temperature of 26 and I was freezing
