Dangerous highways

Post by glalt » January 12, 2022, 9:41 am

How did this guy get his license?

"The sedan driver, whose name was withheld by Phan Thong authorities investigating the accident, stated to the press that he was coming from Bangkok to visit his relatives in Chonburi. He claimed he was simply following GPS navigation which led him to drive directly into the lagoon. The driver claimed the accident was no fault of his own and fully the responsibility of the GPS company."

There speaks a man who may or may not have acquired his licence by dubious means and claims his lack of intelligence `that told him he was driving into a puddle not a deep body of water. Classic case of in this situation, there is fault but it is one person blaming anyone or anybody or in this case a unspeaking techn0logical glitch that caused him to lose what little brain cells he had.

that stretch of ring rd from 4 way at old bigC to
new overpass going nong khai is a minefield
of poorly lit concrete barriers, drop offs, rebar
sticking out , lane changes etc. what they've
finished is high quality concrete to their credit

You should have seen it maybe five months ago when it was much narrower, raining and they forgot to plug in the strip lights.

But I agree that the concrete base looks impressive. I wonder if they'll spread tar over the top? That's usually rubbish and needs annual patching. Maybe the UM professional highway builders can advise on that.

I wouldn't be so quick to call it "high quality concrete". If you look closely you will see it already disintegrating in some places. There seems to be no consistency in the quality of work here. One stretch of concrete is good and in the next strip the concrete is a bad mix. Not to worry.....next year at this time the same contractor will be back doing a make-over and getting paid again. The poor quality of work here is very purposeful in my opinion. Such madness keeps people employed and keeps money flowing to the back pockets of the corrupt!
Colossians 2:8-10...See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, which are based on human tradition and the spiritual forces of the world rather than on Christ. For in HIM dwells all the fullness of the GODHEAD bodily; and you are complete in HIM, who is the head of all principality and power.
