Can anyone advise the pros and cons of getting a Thai ID Card especially as I only rent property so my address could change from year to year

I don't care much for the yellow book and only wind up the numbskulls who insist it means something it does not.
I've never had a problem with a pinkie you can carry around in your wallet.
I've had both for nearly a decade and both are fairly useless and certainly not worth the effort of getting.
The braindead libtards on U might suggest that forcing Thais to have an ID card is somehow rayciss! and violates their human rights. Gawd, they're insufferable, lumpen oiks.
