Road building

Post by noosard » April 22, 2021, 10:41 am

Thai netizens were in hysterics after a video showing a man trying to pour cement on a flooded road was shared online.
In the clip, the construction worker is seen carefully laying the cement alongside a marker in the road in order to keep it in a straight line.
The only problem being, the man is wading through ankle high water to do so.

Now let's talk concrete! The good news is that you can pour the concrete in water. Professionals do this all the time. You just have a small standing puddle in your basement and that won't be a problem.

The biggest issue with pouring concrete under water is movement. If the water is moving, it can wash away the cement paste that's holding the sand and gravel together. But if the water is calm, then it's not a problem at ahttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zs9qf1Dlqsg

The only thing funny about the OP is the fact ThaiVisa has a problem with "citizens" keeps calling them netizens for whatever reason.

I was threatened by their moderators for taking the piss out of em over it.
