90 day reporting ANNOUNCEMENT

At 08:47 to about 09:45 on the tape they talk about 90 day reporting
The On Line system is down for Maintenance, therefore you can report either in person or by Mail
They are reviewig the option and ONY Option of Mail due to the Covid

Again they are REVIEWING this and will come out with an announcement shortly

In the above posting from "tammakhun" (Thank you) is the link on how to post if needed.

If the 90 day reporting goes to by mail only due to covid surely this is a bit strange as looking at the requirements people without a home copier would have to visit a place to copy all the documents required prior to the going to the post office to post it thus coming into contact with more people .. IMO it would be more sensible to keep the in person 90 day reporting at the nearest immo office with masks and social distancing strictly adhered to.

DM you've been here long enough to know the "forward planning" dept at Immigration will only be considering the welfare etc of Immigration staff (Not Alien or Post Office staff). If and when this is introduced it will be up to the "reaction planning" staff at the Post Office to then (and only then) consider what their response will be. Getting TWO different depts/offices to confer prior to a decision being made will NEVER happen

No you are wrong it would be far better to ensure the Computerisation actually worked and NO-ONE would have to do a damn thing except use a Telephone or a computor thereby making sure people stay safe .

Was there yesterday. Took about three minutes to do the 90 day report. It's a pretty easy process to report in person for those who live in the general area of the city. A far cry from the days when we had to fill out the reporting form and drive to Nong Khai and get in the queue.

^ The issue isn't how easy it is right now. It's how nebulous it may become shortly.

What's the earliest before due date for a walk-in report again? Don't really want to faff with the postie.

Did mine last week by post - mailed 16th, received back 21st.

Wanted to avoid a confrontation (and possible fine) with Mr Benz about not reporting after arriving back from ASQ a couple of months ago.

One interesting point - my envelope to Immo was registered EMS, but the enclosed return envelope was not. I received back a different envelope, which was EMS. :-k

The dates of posting and receiving are great BUT if the whole country needs to do this will change for sure
My reasoning for posting was to prepare for the worst . But we will see the posts "oh what do I do?" for sure
