Pepper's good as long as it's white pepper like you have on the tables. That's Scottish style pepper.

Not that cracked, milled, black pepper. That's for the poofterz doon sooth.

Seems to be some conflicting inter jock info here with Alex and broon saying no onion yet Tam and DR saying have onion .. im guessing different parts of Scotland all be a tiny still developing nation may have differing pie recipes , with or without ??

* Question how are these pies to be eaten .. with gravy , mint sauce or naked??

Ref love lamb / sheep ..DM indeed has an infection for the said cute wolly creatures alas not skipping thru a meadow ..or wearing wellies and underpants round ankles ...bur in Lamb curry , shepherds pie lamb chops and kebabs...and now it appears add SCOTCH PIES

Maybe times are changing so to the traditional old and new recipes for Scotch pies .. many cultural things morph over time .. even the wearing of a kilt , from the hill tribes of the highlands to the inner city millenials .. now it appears above the knee is acceptable ... and hopefully Y fronts not swinging free as in the past ??

You got one of these Tammy
