Re: Crazy Udon
You mean someone taking drugs is NOT mentally retarded
Re: Crazy Udon
The yabba did it not his mental state at the time before he took the yabba. If he hadn't of took it he wouldnt done what he did. If. You dont have a bullet you Can't fire the gun. If it was in London they would have shot him if he had a weapon in his hand. I don't believe people on here are looking for ecusses.

Perhaps you should take your own advice, before becoming consumed with faux outrage. However, the psychological examination and the results of the urine and blood tests would need some time to confirm the exact information of his physical and mental conditions,” the psychiatrist stated.

Seems the majority that are sentenced to death in Thailand are not executed
There are 510 on death row
since 2002 18 people have been executed 11 2002 4 2003, 2 2009 and 1 2018
Now this clown looks like a good candidate for an excution in the near future

Re: Crazy Udon
Pleading guilty will get him.off the death sentence .. he cant really plead not guilty due to the cctv evidence ... but there is guilty on the grounds of diminished responsibility .. if he does have mental.issues proven this will determin if he goes to a DOC prison serves life or mental.instution prison combined.
Whatever his state .. yabba , booze or mental.illness or both he is IMO scum a waste of soace and should bectreated as such

Re: Crazy Udon
Lets say that someone is not convicted of a murder because he/she is considered mentally ill. After treatment, they commit another atrocity. Who is to blame for the death of another innocent victim? I am firmly of the opinion that a permanent solution is much better for society.

That's all very [insert name of a U.S. police department here] isn't it?
Re: Crazy Udon
Mentaly ill, yabbad up, evil all these comments on this site without one person having first hand knowledge of the perpetrator. It's reasonable to think that this guy took a bit out of each of these columns. Let the courts examine and decide.
What I do know is mental illness and drug use are often intertwined.
For me, I see unchecked use of Yabba and have direct knowledge of the distribution not just being tolerated, but with authorities having quite an interest in the trade. I have also seen that there is little effective action for the mentally ill. A person pisses purple, they are released from custody after a few days, little funding for follow up. If a crazy gets picked up for wielding a knife, released again after a couple of days. If he/she slashes somebody, victims family gets paid, cops get paid and no time in the Monkey House.
Drug taking and mental illness are endemic and will stay that way until the government takes it seriously, no signs of that happening so incidents like this are common. This one stands out because of it's location and multiple victims. There is plenty of this going on at the village level where murders and stabbings are not that uncommon.
Shooting or hanging this guy will not solve the wider problem even if it panders to the thoughts of the revenge seekers on this forum

I had a bumper sticker in Texas that read 'Beam me up Scotty'. I often wish I could find one in Udon Thani
Re: Crazy Udon
Only according to "a psychiatrist" quoted in the erudite Pattaya News.
Other reports suggest he may have had a 'cocktail' of medications and narcotics. Any booze consumed wouldn't have helped either.
Apparently he worked as a pig slaughterman in either Nongwuaso or NBLP and came to town for Udon's winter festival. At this juncture, nothing suggests it was premeditated.
Re: Crazy Udon
Once he took his yabba and/or cocktail of drugs/drink he forfeited the right to be treated like a normal human being?
3 young lady students are dead because of this scum and 4 seriously injured.
Maybe some posters should have some sympathy for them and their families instead of trying to justify the actions of this worthless piece of trash.

Re: Crazy Udon
Mrs N has just been telling me a Thai news channel is reporting he was some sort of satanic weirdo & had devil worship tattoos on his body. Apparently Saturday the 5th has some meaning in all this too.
At least that’s what I think she means.
Still no excuse for his actions though

Either way, your post was a poor attempt to justify his actions
