Where are you located, Sam? How long did it take for the mail to reach you from Thailand?

I recently received a letter from Scotland which took 10 days . I also received, unfortunately, yet another Life Certificate request from the DWP. Sent that back using the Thai Post tracking system, another letter posted same day same tracking system arrived back in my mailbox this morning.

Had that before realised with my Thai address on the back was easier for them to understand and hense mail back to the beginning but took longer than a day

I recently sent my Life Cert back to Blighty using Registered Mail , took one day to get to Suvanabum Postal Export Mail Desk and then one assumes a plane to Blighty . So basically 36 hours from posting to leaving on a jet Plane .
Oft times the Post Office worker inputs the incorrect address.

If you track your mail as I always do you will find many countries Involved in the delivery between here and the UK. The mail tends to go cheapest option so direct flights hardly ever used and I have seen up to 5 different countries in the tracking app. I find when it's goes via Belgium tends to be slow

Just received my proof of Life form from the UK today..
It was posted on the 3rd August .
That is nearly 2 months.

As usual Pensions people did not send it recorded delivery or Air Mail.

Have 16 weeks to reply so maybe ok.
I will send it back EMS and see how long that takes.

+44 191 21 87777.
on the life cert uk , it just may be possible (due to the delay in mail ,) to call the above number explain about the postal system ,, answer a few questions ,job done , i've been told by someone who claims to have done it ,
needless to say when i tried it with my pension claim ,they told me this was no longer available to those overseas along with the online application,,,but for a life certificate ?? maybe worth the phone call ,
