Anzac Day 2020
Re: Anzac Day 2020
Dawn services in driveways across the country.
Re: Anzac Day 2020
At least the haters have some respect for those who fought and died defending their countries.
Re: Anzac Day 2020
As the son of a very brave British Army regular and friend of so many than put the lives at risk for causes their countries believed in, I pay all soldiers, sailors and air force personnel my deep respect.
I wish we could go back to the days when the kings and leaders led their troops into battle, risking their own lives alongside their people.
There would be a lot less wars and a lot less lives lost.
Lest we forget.

I had a bumper sticker in Texas that read 'Beam me up Scotty'. I often wish I could find one in Udon Thani

Good one Maaka,
We hang ---- on each other, but when push comes to shove, we're in it together,
and all out vets are testimony to that.

From an old US Marine Sgt. I will remember them. Many thanks for all their sacrifices thorough the many years. For me, especially to my American Wars in SE Asia brothers. May someday the bells will ring out in peace at last and may the gods damn the chickenhawks that sent all of us off to the stupid, illegal, immoral wars for them.
