Has anyone ever used Speedyvisa services?

Post by newtovillagelife » April 12, 2020, 5:11 am

Just wondering if anyone has successfully used this service, and if they are legit.

Nice website with the usual testimonials. Drop them a line or give them a call and see if they can provide exactly what you want.

Years ago I used a company called Thai Visa which was located on Sukhumvit Soi 23 in Bangkok. When I went to that office there was a heavy chain and padlock on the front doors. I had no choice but to go to Thai immigration. The immigration officer showed my a box of confiscated passports. He inspected my passport and told me the Australian stamps were legal but since I had no Australian stamps showing that I had gone to Australia, that made them illegal. I was thankful that he processed my extension with the warning that if my passport goes anywhere, I HAVE to go with it. Since that scary situation, I have stuck to the straight and narrow. Based on my experience, I'd have to say that using an agent is a risky thing to do. Up to you.

If you need to use a Visa service then use Key Visa in Pattaya
I was born with nothing and still have most of it left

They're expensive, but they get the job done. That's Visa Plus in Udon.

It costs between 15-20k. Takes a couple of days. They take your passport to the immigration office so it gets all the right stamps.
Their office is in a shop house in Preeda market off of Prajak Road.
TIT, it is legal.

TIT, it is legal.
It's not - but as you say, TIT, and you still end up with (an expensive) stamp in your passport.

This year due to a variety of reasons , I considered using a Visa Agency, now if you really think about it , most of us who have lived here for a considerable time have managed to be issued with a Yellow Book, now this is a Thai Government way of stating where you live and is recognised b y the Immigration Police as valid proof.
In view of this and the fact that I wanted my Visa to be issued by Udon Thani Immigration Office, the companies were limited.
Certainly these days 90 day report can be done on line but what if it is NOT ? A question of asking someone or a company to go to the Issuing Office to make one for you , BUT your passport has to go as well, Another conundrum .

So I looked at all the options, costed it all out and the one I went for is Udon based, Udon Immigration stamp , 90 days also organised for you. Initial costs might be a tad higher, but peace of mind, Passport never leaves my possession until at Udon Immigration, so Passport safety is guaranteed. Quickly done about 90 minutes from Start to Finish . Now who could possibly complain about that. By the way it was not the one asked about , by the OP

^ Further to the company mentioned in the OP, I sent them a "ghost" application online with my current circumstances the same day as I suggested the OP to give them a call. So far not a dicky bird. Maybe they're feart o' Scottish ghosts.

With the new money rules, I was sure that the visa agents would be put out of business. I have no idea how they get around the money requirements or how a person can get their extension without going in person. How can this be legal? It looks like the same old story, MONEY talks. The laws are clear.

Yes , they are clear . But like you say money talks and nonsense walks .
But if you know someone , who knows someone , and are offering a small enticement gift , then magic things can happen TIT one rule for one , another for the next .
Palms are greased and rules , what rules .

I spoke to one in BK and questioned the legality and the reply was this is asia and money can do everything, my friend in BK got a new extension based on retirement, money in bank method, they did every thing passport back in 3 days with single re entry permit , total 14000.

You remember our old friend up here. No visa for more than five years and no driver's license even after having an accident with the police involved. No chance of getting caught now since he is dead.
