You could try the Chinese Bakery supply shop right across the road from Makro

Most whole wheat flour available here is way overpriced. The last I bought from Lazada, the cost was 250 baht for five KG, not a bad price. I just took a look and the 5 KG bag is no longer available. The one KG bags cost about 100 baht, pretty expensive. I have been using half bread flour and half whole wheat flour. The bread comes out great.

The flour from Macro is 80 baht a kilo.Lazada is about same but have to pay postage.
I must find somewhere.White flour is so processed, and no nutrition at all.
Yes, I use 75% whole wheat flour, to white flour. As whole wheat is bit heavy

when lucky at , makro, ngeesun, chinese bakery shop , about 80 baht /kilo , i always use a ratio from 10-20% whole wheat on normal flower , 75% must be a really heavy bread , it sure looks heavy on the picture , but all this to our own preferences ..., the big secret in light bread baking is , patience ...leaving the dough get enough time to rise ...
i always go for a slow rise , 30min in bulk, 1hour after rise (or more, depending what bread ), using cold water (refrigerated) in the recipe...as info ;)

I used to buy it at Schmidt Co., Ltd - Udon Thani
Adress: วัดไก่เถื่อน 244 หมู่ที่ 8 ซอย Mu Mon, Mueang Udon Thani District, Udon Thani 41000, Thailand

Google it and you will find a map, it is close to the Big Bike shop on Ring Rd, They have allt bakery supplies you need.

There is also a bakery supply shop more or less opposite MAKRO. This is where a lot of bakers go, probably cheaper than Schmidt.

I use a bread machine. Dump everything in the mixing pan and push start. About 3 hours later you have a great loaf of bread. A friend of mine has been baking his own bread using a Breville bread maker for 12 years. He convinced me that a bread making machine is the way to go.

I had no idea that a bread making machine would make great bread so easily. My small machine has 13 different cycles including making jam and yogurt. It makes great cinnamon raisin bread. One of these days I'll use the dough cycle to make the dough for cinnamon rolls. You do have to bake the rolls in an oven.

My friend recommended a Breville machine. I ordered it from Australia. The shipping companies must have air dropped it because it came in a damaged box. The machine had a big dent in it and not a surprise that it didn't work. I sent it back and am trying to get a refund because I don't trust the shipping companies to get a replacement here undamaged.

Anyways I am using a much cheaper one I got from Lazada. I have to say that I'm impressed at how well it works.

what is disappointing is that shopee now starts handling same delivery charges as lazada ,
to deliver 1kg of flour ,65 baht , ridiculous , when ordering something from china it is 30 baht and same delivery partner as the inland deliveries?.... :(
